What would Lincoln do? What would Jefferson do?  What would either Roosevelt do? For that matter, what would JFK do? And yes, what would Churchill do?   This list never needs to end.  How many heroic voices do you remember from History?        

 

I was once asked, if I could be anyone in history, who would I like to be? My first answer was "Me!"  I explained ... I can still change the world with MY actions. I don't want to be someone whose story is already settled. I want to make my own contribution.

 

If someone asks you that question, how will you answer it? Let me put it another way ... are you more interested in reading history, or do you want to make some of your own?

 

What would Winston Churchill do? That is a good question. It seems to me though, that a better question would be, "What WILL YOU do?"  Who are you? What do you fight for? What is sacred to you? What will you do?

 

I had to come up with a different answer to satisfy the question I was asked. It seems the only correct answer was to choose someone who was in fact, a historical figure. I chose King Solomon, because of his association with wisdom. It's still a second best, choice.

 

It is an incredible chance we are given in this life, to do something great. Why would I want to replay someone elses victory, when I can win one of my own? Our past heros already saved thier respective worlds. It's time to save ours!

4 We now start the Michael Weaver apprication campaign. What will we do? Nothing, absolutely nothing. People can"t remember between attacks. We simply carryon as every attack is a new one what will be handle with diplomacy by some unnone in Washington, DC. If we try to take charge at this time the government will side with every enemny who is from another land or race. Just not the time to do anything. The day will come. But it's not here yet.

5 "not here yet"  Not quite ... and a certain American chivalry requires that the people are woken up to the reality of things, so that they can be the guiding light we say we believe in. Government by the people.

8 Policies aren't appreciated until about ..... 3 decades later before a real impact can be felt. That would put most of the problems facing us now back to a weak leadership that made one bad choice after another. The same 'leader' who is doing everything he can to deflect blame by criticizing a sitting leader. Everyone is screaming about the game of checkers when it's chess. Do you remember Pres. Bush talking about this being a 30 year war?  It's not a good thing when people play national security issues as a political card. Unless that card is being played to strengthen the hand, not weaken it.
