War Porn: Music Videos, Iraqi Soldiers Style

Thanks to Steve for sending me this link to The Officer's Club which leads to this this video of Blackwater guys popping members of the Mahdi Army. Searching around I found some cool music videos made by our troops. They are basically home movies set to music, but they are a tribute to the men fighting in Iraq. As Osama bin Laden reminded us today, they are fighting in Iraq so we won't have to fight them here.

Just think of this post as MTV, if MTV actually wanted us to win the war. More videos below the fold including The Offspring, and DVDA's Team America: World Police song America f*ck yeah!

Blink 182, Don't depend on me: Combat Service Support Company 122 near Fallujah.

The Offspring, Race against myself: Spencer Slider (presumably a Marine Bradley gunner or driver)

DVDA, America f*ck yeah: AR 15 toting soldier Robert Rusch tells the terrorists to lick on his butt and suck on his balls!

Guns n' Roses, Welcome to the jungle: Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadran 361

Neil Young, Keep on rockin in the free world (live, possible remake?):Another one from AR-15 toting soldier Robert Rusch (notice the part where they free a hostage)

Thanks to reader Maobi, the song has been identified as Kidd Rock's Lonely road of faith Unknown rock ballad + mix of various artists (little help here) : US Border Support Team (Iraq/Jordan border)

Thanks to FIAR of Radioactive Liberty, the remake is by the Dropkick Murphy's, CCR (Remake), Fortunate son: this guy Robert Rusch can sure make the videos! Maybe some one from VH1 ought to give this cowboy a call?

3 Ref the Blackwater vid - no context - no idea

If anyone's interested (probably not) there is "tension" between Blackwater & like and the military up and down the ranks.

Needless to say - I and many many others don't "idolize" them. I can understand - to a degree - the role and purpose they serve - but I'm leery of it.

Old hands from 'Nam have seen this before, and are also leery of this "development".

4 Definitely a Boyz and Hardware kinda thing. What a hoot! Not much narrative or context, so there's a long way to go before this will ever get Hollywood into a sweat, but it's something we just don't see anywhere else. Give it time. Thanks Dr. Shackleford!

7 nice video of Blackwater murderers....

any dingbat can set a camera up and shoot bullets. no evidence any of these rounds hit any targets, military or civilian, but my guess would be they're shooting civilians.

great video- amerikkkans killing iraqis in iraq-

pat yourselves on the backs again for more wonderful recruitment footage for the mujahedin.

sickoz.

16 I think the song 'America, F~ck Yeah!' was supposed to be ironic. I didn't think it was actually meant to be used for a promotional video of America blowing the crap out of some villager's buildings.

If you ask me, this stuff is just begging to be used in jihad recruitment videos.

Posted by: Cerbera Speed Twelve at January 22, 2006 06:48 PM (CV//a)

17 Nah, the jihadists like the blood and guts stuff, Cerbera. Slitting throats, cutting off heads, blowing innocent people to bits, now that is recruitment worthy!

Posted by: jesusland joe at January 22, 2006 08:19 PM (rUyw4)

18 Excellent video Chris. And Cerbera? Go hide under your bed and let the adults talk.
