6 You do know that the photo of the one Vietnamese man holding a gun to the other guy's head is actually a photo of a South Vietnamese authority about to execute an expected collaborator of the North, don't you? Judge, jury, and executioner. Was that the freedom we were fighting for in Vietnam?

Short response: the guy was a V.C. In war, the luxury of courts and lawyers are not always appropriate.

Not so short response: You may perhaps also be aware that shooting college students and napalming villages weren't exactly shining moral highpoints either.
The 60's, in case you missed them, were a somwhat ambiguous melange of horror and hedonism, idiocy and misdirected idealism.
Which is juxtaposed by the absolute UNambiguous jackassery of the current herd of leftovers and wannabes who, having missed the "glory days" of perhaps-honorable protest, are left with no "choice" but to support absolute evil of repressive and genocidal jihadists - which support comes largely in the form of actions which would earn a quick beheading from those the deluded poltroons are attempting to support.
I'm fresh out of gold stars, but judging from your tone perhaps you'd like a nice red one?

8 The truth? So some guy picks out a few obscure pictures of anti-war, anti-American wackos and this is somehow the "truth" about the left. Sorry, this is not the truth. The truth is that there are plenty of intelligent, liberally minded individuals who disagree with the way this administration has handled the situation since 9/11. I don't think that these people are the "true left" anymore than the KKK is the "true right" but I'm sure it makes it easier for you to maintain your disgust and hatred of an opposing view when that's what you believe. Best of luck with that.
