Jesusland: Now that Uncle Sam no longer supplies my coolest weaponry I carry a Para-Ordinance P-14 Limited .45 with the double stack mag. My reach out and touch someone preference is the Remington 700 .308 or .338 lapua. Home defense choice is the Mossberg 500 12 gauge. I've never carried the Socom so I can not comment on it other then to say many of my peers swear by it. SeaMonk: I'm not understanding the question. Are you asking my rifle range scores or MOS?

I can't believe after all this time and all the data they have on this case after 10 years and this is the guy they picked to charge? Don't get me wrong ... he's a creep of the first magnatude, but my God, we ought to put the DA in jail too for this. This guy is the professional? We had bloggers and ordinary people by the dozens who saw right through it from the get go.

Though I have a Mossberg 835, my home defense weapon is an SKB XL900 20 guage autoloader with 6 rounds of #2 buckshot. Much lighter and easier to handle than the 835 [or a 500], and just as deadly.
Reach out and touch with Rem 700 in .270 Winchester with 130 grain Winchester Ballistic Silvertips.

Bushmaster XM-15 with a Trijicon ACOG & Tripower, a Gemtech HALO suppressor (sshhh), and many other goodies. I prefer Nosler ballistic tips or Hornady TAPS ($) for home and self defense. Gun porn is cool.

SeaMonk: My rifle range scores (with the exception of boot camp where I scored a 227 ) were always in the high 230's low 240's (5 time Expert Rifle). As far as MOS goes I started as a 2818 then attached to a SIGINT Recon. BN (2600's MOS).

Mossberg, Cheapie; Black plastic stock. 12 Gauge with buck, bird, buck, etc. loadout. (Own the weapon, not into the nomenclature!) Someone stole my Dan Wesson .357 and Mini-14. Replaced with inexpensive shotgun.
I think the D.A. was hoping for a hail mary on that freak. Business Class flight, champagne and all the comfort for a first class maggot. Concur with Shooter's recommendation.
