The program has created some contentiousness, particularly from Danes that don't get taxpayer-funded hookers. The argument is that every Dane deserves free whores, not just the disabled.
My take is that this is a clear case of discrimination.

Imagine opening your door to the ugliest woman possible (government service so she's got an attitude and louse "work" ethic too) .. and then .. the gov forms (positions - time alotted - EEO and Mission Statements etc etc etc). the only thing Socialism ever really gave anyone was a good screwing - and in this case you probably won't get that .. unless your right and it is a pre-op tranny.

The Danes have the right idea; they're giving a chance to those who never thought they had a chance and in time, maybe find someone that will last forever in their lives. Don't put this down because it's hookers and whores for their is a reasoning behind it - showing the disabled person that they can have someone in their lives who will love them and be loved back to that someone.
So unless you've been disabled or chronically ill, don't put down this odd behavior for in the end, it will do more good than bad for that person who's disabled. Everyone needs to be loved but when you are in a chair, you shut down your emotions and feelings. What the Danes are trying to do is show the disabled individual that they indeed can be loved and it sure opens new doors for them. Brilliant idea.
