Cheese Eating Surrender Monkey Press reports:

BAIDOA, Somalia (AFP) - Ethiopia moved tanks and other reinforcements into the battle zone for a third day of fighting against Islamist forces in southern Somalia, witnesses said, while the Islamists vowed an all-out war.

Ethiopa seems to know the stakes in this game. They appear determined not to allow Somalia to follow in the footsteps of Afghanistan.

Iran knows them too, they're giving the Islamic Courts Union their full support.

We're probably supporting Ethiopa with intel, special forces and material, but it would be nice to read that we're getting a little revenge by providing them some close air support.

3 Special Forces have been providing training to Ethiopean soldiers for a couple of months in prep for this. Fox did a report on it back around Thanksgiving I think. It's mostly tactical training, and the Ethiopeans appreciate the support, but what they really want is equipment, specifically helos and such. Dunno whether we sold them helo gunships yet though. I knda hope we did. They've got a decent military by African standards, but the ICU are actually kinda badass and they don't mind dyin' by large numbers to win.

Reading this thread, I think Jesusland Carlos correctly outed John Lyin as a propagandist troll for the Iranian regime. You'll notice that he doesn't stop at hating America and defending the paleolithic cult of islame. He rabidly defends that Iranian dirt monkey, Amadjihad, and his organ grinding mullah masters at every opportunity. He hates sunnis and loves shite koranimals. On this thread he rants against sunnis and their Saudi Arabian sugar daddies.

I think his point is to promote the talking monkeys in Iran.
