Surber Smacks MSM Double-Standard On Algore

Bam!

As a proud member of the mainstream media, let me suggest that this double-standard — this refusal to hold Al Gore accountable for his actions which are contradictory to his words — only feeds the belief that the media is biased in favor of liberals — particularly born-to-the-manor, overfed, limousine liberals who consume 220,000 kilowatts of electricity each year in just one of his three homes.
Why weren't Algore's utility bills flashed on the screen when Melissa "I was once relevant" Ethridge was wailing and bemoaning the alleged environmental ravages and absolute horrors of the average, 1/25-of-Algore citizen's lifestyle?

Because they're interested in drastic lifestyle changes - for you, not them.

That's not proof of global warming if the coldest January in years wasn't proof against it.

You now take the conservative position? We didn't get "global cooling" reports when the temperatures were 12 below their averages.

Where were you during the snow? Didn't have anything to say, did you?

And you still don't.

Amen, ie Ameren Ill. Democrats gave Ameren an unregulated monopoly.

Governors pet coal project will double or triple the cost of creating energy from local coal. We can scrub the sulpher now. But he want to remove all the CO2.

The solution, double rates today. Ameren made over 200 million clear profit last year.

Democrats talk to the little guy as they f*ck him up the ass.

ILL is a good model for national politics. We are about two years ahead of the nation. Republicans had power, corrupted themselves. Got the boot. Demcrats come in. Screw stuff up even worse, smile at you as their partner lifts your wallet from behind.

There should be a season for politicians, just like coyotes. Thin em out a bit to keep the problems down.

Why would you guess that?  Because the few marching morons of your acquaintance don't?  I know this may be hard for you to believe, but there's a whole lot of world outside your Leftard bubble.  Algore's message has essentially been derailed because of his hyporisy.  Everytime he speaks in public, his hypocrisy and utility bills will become the real issue.

17 Gore and his Lib ilk keep pining for the Kennedy-era "Camelot"....

...what they don't tell you is they want a REAL Camelot --- where there is an elite ruling class (them) and the rest of us are mere serfs.....

Posted by: Gerry at March 01, 2007 04:33 AM (WqUu+)

18 Gerry, I hate to break it to you, but we already have that system in
place, and the only thing that's keeping them from consolidating their
power completely is the fact that there are over two hundred million
guns in private hands in this country, which is why they've been
working so hard to take them away from us. Our own government is our
worst enemy, and has been making war on us for a long time now, and
it's just about time to start fighting back, and I don't mean by
voting, which is nothing but masturbation. The electoral system is run
by one party with two faces that makes the sheeple believe that by
voting Democrat or Republican they may get a result other than heads or
tails, and the sheeple dutifully line up at the polls for their
shearing.

Improbulus,   I've been there with that thinking, and while I've modified my view since then, your still expressing a view that remains close to mine.  The civil war is closer than many imagine. I think it may still be avoided, and I urge the use of your words and wisdom to feed salt to the zombies. There are many 'libs' who just don't understand, and these can be turned.

And they can't get all the guns, because people, especially those who are already criminals, will hide them. If they even get half the guns, we can always replace the lost guns with things that are really dangerous, so I think we have room to keep using words a bit longer. The left has no clue how dangerous "Popular Mechanics" really is ...

The worst thing about a civil war, and finally resolving the polarization caused by the Socialist left, is that it can distract us from defeating the Jihad against the west. I don't think we can afford that yet. I could be wrong. It could be the Jihadists are feeding the polarization so efffectively, that we are over the edge already.

Our primary mission must always be the preservation of our Constitutional Republic, and if tolerating the Socialists helps us beat Islamic Imperialism, lets put off that fight a little while. That's where I'm at. I'll stay there for at least as long as the dems don't retake the White House. I have to re-evaluate at that point.

Don't you miss the days when war was fought on an open field?

USA, all the way!
