House Chair: 'CNN Publicist For Enemy Propaganda

SAN DIEGO â€” CNN has become "the publicist for an enemy propaganda film" by broadcasting a video showing an insurgent sniper in Iraq apparently killing an American soldier, the chairman of the House Armed Services Committee said here Friday.
Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-El Cajon) called for the Pentagon to oust any CNN reporter embedded with U.S. troops in Iraq.
"I think Americans like to think we're all in this together," Hunter said. "The average American Marine or soldier has concluded after seeing that film that CNN is not on their side."

Since CNN chief news exec Eason Jordan (who later resigned in disgrace for slandering US troops) has admitted that CNN's Baghdad bureau deliberately concealed news of Saddam's atrocities prior to the invasion of Iraq, perhaps no CNN "journalist's" credentials should be considered valid by any US government entity.

I'd like to ask you something; in your opinion should guys like Anderson Cooper and Lou Dobbs also be painted with the same brush?
Put another way, would I be naive to assume that Anderson C. and Lou D. have not been dhimmified yet?

Agreed, but let's not stop at CNN ... let's extend the shame to all television news programming. It's all ratings-driven flash and damned little substance. We would all do well to read our news rather than watching it.
