If you're wondering about Eason Jordan's thoughts on Jamilgate, here they are.

Here are his 'Lingering Questions' :

Why did it take all parties so long to provide proof of Captain Hussein's existence?
Is Captain Hussein a reliable news source? While we now know he's genuine, he was not an authorized spokesman. His critics, including his Iraqi government bosses and the U.S. military, have challenged the veracity of many of AP reports attributed to him. Many violent incidents reported by Captain Hussein via the AP were not reported by other western news organizations, raising suspicions about whether all those incidents occurred. The controversy likely will linger in this area, with third party reporting being done to determine the accuracy of Captain Hussein's statements to the AP.
Will all involved learn from their mistakes?

2 Jawa Report recommends Strata-sphere.com even tho it has an essentially fantasyland take on the Iraq War, given by the pseudonymous AJ Strata who today eg ignores CIA reports and US officers' estimates of Al Qaeda composing only about 5% of the mostly native Sunni insurgency, and continues to portray the Iraq War as the US versus his exagerrated jihadist straw man. Today he also trashes Democrats' demands to obey public sentiment (which sentiment he lies about)and ease troops outof Iraq as "surrendering it to al Qaeda," despite Sunni tribal claims we ATTRACT al Qaeda to Iraq and they they can better drive it out after we leave. Typical neocon distortions,as when Strata today ignores military officers opposed to the surge and pretends only the Democrat left argues against it.

The public has been polled on the subject and when those in favor
of immediate withdrawal are combined with those favoring
an announced short-term timed withdrawal, the percentage
overwhelms the 20% who wish us to stay, yet Strata and a
host of neocon fellow travelers who bray of "bringing democracy
to Iraq" want Bush to ignore the overwhelming majority
and "surge" to an even greater defeat-even as they falsely
insinuate only the Democratic left sector of the public has
given up on the war. This is willful deceit, of both themselves
and any readers who sit on the fence.

3 Ken Hoop! Any attempt to conquer the whole world has to knock down the USA first, if it wants any chance to succeed. We cannot sit and wait. We are a target, and always will be, until our nation is no more. Violent enemies must be crushed ala WW2 and thats the only way to show our strength of will against aggressors. Anything less, means that stock in vaseline will go up! Its a world of wolves Ken, and the will come for us if we let them get big enough.
