Bias? What Bias?

CNN Reporter Michael Ware was caught heckling and mocking the official comments made at a press conference with John McCain and Lindsay Graham in Baghdad. They're both deserving targets, I know, but Michael Ware is slowly losing his mind a little more each broadcast.

Activist.
Not a reporter. Treat all further information opined by Ware as such. Also, this:

Michael Ware has also publicly expressed his views on the war last year in an interview with Bill Maher, saying, “I've been given a front-row ticket to watch this slow-motion train wreck … I try to stay as drunk for as long as possible while I'm here … In fact, I'm drinking now.”

UPDATE: It wasn't Ware. It was an AFP reporter. The above quote, however, still stands - not the laughter thingy, though. Dismissed.

1 Hmmm. Ultra-rightwing blog cites unknown "official" critical of Ware. Yup... that certainly isn't in and of itself "biased" reporting now is it? Fuck you guys are stupid.

Lets say for a second this is true, and really... I wouldn't be surprised if it is. Ware has actually been in Iraq for months, and has acutally witnessed what's going on. I don't give a rats ass if McCain is a Senator, veteran, or Jesus fucking Christ himself... the asshole lied when he said "“There are neighborhoods in Baghdad where you and I could walk through those neighborhoods, today.”

When you speak such bullshit... you get called on it. I can't wait till somebody says something like this to your retard-in-chief.

2 Michael Ware sure has easy access to terrorist propaganda videos like the sniper video of terrorists shooting at American soldiers. He is not to be trusted, as he seems to find the latest terrorist stringer and passes it off as his own information. Liar and an activist, par for the course for CNN.

3 This is where the American left is today. Cunts like John here don't give a damn that reporters are activist. Hell...as long as they are towing his leftist shit line he loves it. But the real kicker is that he can show up here and claim that this is fair and unbiased journalism while calling us dumb. Physician heal thyself.

4 John, tell your Mom that I wasn't very happy with the slop she called breakfast this morning, and no so much starch in my shirts.

Punk.

5 CNN had a broadcast last night featuring umah pemaraju(I don't know how in the helll to spell her name)titled The Enemy Within. She tried her best to blame the current admistration on radical islam and the current britiish soldier crisis but it didn't sit well with a moderate cleric. I think there is a tug-a-war going on at CNN. Frankly CNN needs to realize that we will not put up with their showing Buba the sniper, and other reports that has ruined our chances of success. If the reporter has to drink then he is a woosie, real men report the REAL news. We have been through prior world wars but I believe this is the first war that we have treasonist members of congress and house that are leading us to our demise. It is called the "New World Order" and has been long in the making.

6 McCain is performing a desperate, pathetic kabuki dance, and making a complete ass of himself. He should be relegated to a rocking chair on a porch somewhere, far away from elected office.

Good for Michael Ware. It's about time someone called out that charlatan. I've heard enough "straight talk" from that buffoon to last a life time.

7 Thanks John for, well, nothing.  You're just another troll who spews rhetoric and nonsense, then drives away (like your drive by media friends, Mr. Ware perfect example).

Do you think it's right for a hack like Ware to come off as unbiased?  The man has no credibility--other bloggers have been there, such as Yoni and Bill Roggio embedded with troops and even while under fire.  A lot more balanced than a moron like Ware who reports from his balcony.  Thanks for painting us with the same brush--you are a jackass, go back to your cowardly watering holes (Dkos and Dummies U).

8 CNN is not leftwing. Tell me who they feature to counter the idiotic rantings of Glenn Beck and Nancy Grace? Sorry freaks, but CNN is only a little less rightwing than Fox. They are practically just as guilty for not fully reporting on this war and its lead up as all the other hack organizations.

And guys... embedded journalists are propaganda tools. Journalists aren't there to report the good fucking news, they're present to report the facts, and sometimes they're aren't what you would like them to be.

I don't know why I bother. You idiots don't know when you've lost a war, so how should I expect you to realize that you've lost an arguement?

Posted by: John at April 01, 2007 05:28 PM (S3Rzh)

9 John, if you're too dumb to see it, no use in telling you.  You really believe CNN is slightly less conservative than Fox?

You're probably a 9/11 truther. Right?  Do tell.

Posted by: Richard Romano at April 01, 2007 05:55 PM (/2Xsz)

10 No John. The cowards on your side have lost the war. Our side is winning but keep on cheering for the terrorist you piece of shit.

Posted by: Randman at April 01, 2007 05:59 PM (Sal3J)

11 Hmmmm. I don't think any of the "cowards" were fighting... of course, clearly neither were you my lazy friend.

What I'm talking about is the neo-conservatives who started this boneheaded war, and then did such a lousy job of running it. You can't blame the left for something that fought by a Republican president and congress. Those clowns have nobody to blame but themselves, and they're running around like assholes trying to point the finger at each other.

Now as for CNN... I just cited two ultra-rightwing tv personalities who spend the duration of their show editorializing... please cite anyone on CNN who has their own show, and vehemently offers a rightwing perspective on events. Go for it.

12 Dollars to donuts says this is never confirmed.  It's going to "develop" right down the memory hole.

Posted by: jpe at April 01, 2007 06:32 PM (KeRC2)

13 John you piece of shit. Quit bothering. No one here really wishes to read your shit. Except your sidekick John Lyin. I'm sure you can find a lefturd blog to sprew your shit.

Posted by: greyrooster at April 01, 2007 07:11 PM (1Y2o3)

14 Well John. Unfortunately for America your too fucking stupid to know that wars are fought on many fronts. We are winning big time in Iraq but your tool politicians on the left who almost all voted for the war want power so bad that they will ensure defeat on the home front. And pukes like you are so loathing of your own nation you would sell it down the river to get that power. And leave it to an fagot like you to have a sentence with asshole and finger.

of course, clearly neither were you my lazy friend.

Ya sure about that fuckface?

15 Comming from the Communist News Network and Big Bad Wolf Blitzer and remember CNN is owned by the notorius RED TED TURNER

Posted by: sandpiper at April 01, 2007 08:24 PM (nRNnq)

16 You can't blame the left for something that fought by a Republican president and congress.

We can blame Islamofascists who destroyed the World Trade Center on 9-11, however. That's the inconvenient legacy your Clintonistas left the world to deal with after fellating themselves out of the White House.

You left that little part out.

Oh, and for the record, if you're going to blame the Bush administration for the "Republican war" (fought with American (not GOP) Troops, by the way and who all of your Democrat buddies voted for unequivocally in 2002 and 2003), then you're going to reflexively have to credit the Democrats with surrendering in Iraq and losing it.

Logic and consistency are twin bitches.

Personally, I'd rather have tried something monumental and had limited success at something like founding a fledgling democracy than become a sniveling and insecure leftwingnut paramecium like John.

Millions of freed Iraqis agree with  the "neocons" and not John. The people who agree with John are a combination of terrorists, leftists, former Hussein loyalists and psychopathic head-chopping murderers who hate America, the West and Israel.

Pipe.  Fire.  Previous passages.  Some assembly required.

18 I see no point in trying to teach a pig to sing, it wastes your time and annoys the pig. Media bias goes waaayy back.

19 Thought waffle house was open at night?

Posted by: greyrooster at April 01, 2007 10:19 PM (yIWcV)

20 "We can blame Islamofascists who destroyed the World Trade Center on 9-11, however."

Iraq didn't attack the US dummy.

The Dems may have voted for the war, but A) They assumed that Bush was telling the truth re WMDs, and B) They probably assumed that the retards knew what they were doing.

Now back to Ware... exactly why shouldn't he be pissed? Why aren't you calling McCain out on the carpet for lying about Iraq?

Oh yeah... I forgot, you're a bunch of rightwing zombies.

Posted by: John at April 01, 2007 11:38 PM (S3Rzh)

21 "Iraq didn't attack the US dummy"  Actually we have been in a state of war since Desert Storm, with the transitional years being composed of a 'cease fire' during which a whole lot of shooting went on. Saddam prety much ignored it, except the part that suppossedly kept us from draging his butt out to pay accounts. On 9-11 things changed except for the real dummies like 'John'.
                     USA, all the way!

Posted by: Michael Weaver at April 02, 2007 01:16 AM (2OHpj)

22 "The Dems may have voted for the war"  Under President Clinton. Then after 9-11 they decided to let Bush proced with actually carrying it out. Someone named John has ben sniffing glue.
                  USA, all the way!

Posted by: Michael Weaver at April 02, 2007 01:18 AM (2OHpj)

23 "rightwing zombies"  and if you remove our brains we become leftwing zombies                       USA, all the way!

Posted by: Michael Weaver at April 02, 2007 01:20 AM (2OHpj)

24 John: You piece of shit. Muslims attacked the WTC. We attacked the muslims back. Asshole. Muslims. Get it.

Posted by: greyrooster at April 02, 2007 12:33 PM (QJgPi)

25 Greyrooster, you're so fucking stupid it's just not even funny. At least attack the right Muslims retard. Fuck me... people like you and Bin Laden deserve each other. It's a shame for the rest of us you can't just get together and wipe each other out.

Now, it looks like all of this is bullshit, because Mike Ware has come out to say this in a recent interview:

GORANI:  And lastly, I've got to ask you about a report there that
said that you were heckling and laughing during Senator McCain's news
conference in Baghdad. Is there any truth to that?

WARE:  No, there is not, Hala.  I didn't heckle.  Indeed, it's been
accused that I asked mocking questions.  And as you'll see, I never
even asked a question.  In fact, I sat there silently.

So I'll tell you what... go find somebody who is willing to stand behind this claim rather than some nameless source, and you might have an case. Right now all you have is a cowardly smear, but then that's how you guys operate isn't it? Is this part of your John Doe manifesto? Hahahahahahaha!

Losers.

Posted by: John at April 02, 2007 12:43 PM (qiTAx)

26 rooster, it's denny's. now you may not remember since you drink shit for whiskey, but it used to be sambo's until people like you started abusing the name so they changed it to lil jew boy, that didn't fly either so now it's denny's. and guess what, they're serving something new there, black people.     john, the people here look for the truth, it takes a great deal of shit shoveling to get to it and even then you only get part of it.   No one here has ever said that they were always right, and in fact the people who are right most of the time are also the first ones to admit when they made a mistake. Does that really sound like losers to you?

Posted by: wb at April 02, 2007 12:52 PM (syC+J)

27 I spend a lot of time on the internets, and I have to say, I have never seen so much bullshit anywhere as I see here. Nobody here is interested in truth, and in fact you actively ignore it.

Mike Ware is a guy who spends most of his time in Iraq. He isn't some bullshit reporter embedded with the troops accepting whatever propaganda the military wants published. He goes out looking for stories, and the best you assholes can do is smear him with claims by people who won't even give their names.

Now I'm just waiting for the retards to pipe up about how the military neeeeeeeeeever would stoop to propaganda. No way! They'd never try to cover things up, or say things that weren't true about people like Jessica Lynch, or Pat Tillman. No way! They're straight up.

You guys can't handle the truth, and the truth is that America has lost the war in Iraq, and it losing the war on terror.

The reason? Cuz you thought you could win hearts and minds by throwing people in secret prisons, and invading other nations. You're as stupid as you are arrogant. Right now America deserves to go down the shitter, because as a democracy it had every chance to reject this sort of bullshit, and it didn't. There's still a chance though that people will start thinking with their heads, and not with their assholes, but not much.

A good first step is realizing that virtually everything on sites like this one is totally wrong. You guys are the George Costanzas of the internet. Try doing the opposite of what seems natural. Chances are it's the right thing to do.

Posted by: John at April 02, 2007 01:35 PM (qiTAx)

28 Here is a link which features the actual press conference, sans any interruptions.

http://rawstory.com/news/2007/CNN_reporter_slams_Drudges_charge_that_0402.html

At the very least when people smear like this, they should maybe try not to pick issues which can easily be countered with evidence.

How's about an apology to Mr. Ware?

Posted by: John at April 02, 2007 01:39 PM (qiTAx)

29 The amount of time you spend on the internet is irrelvant, where ever you've been before has no bearing on what goes on here. Nobody here is interested in a distorted truth, like the type of crap that gets pumped out by the maintstream bullshitters. That's why so many people come to these sites to get a different veiw point. The one thing that is actively ignored is the slanted bias that people as yourself come here with as it is straight from the same pack of lies that are not tolerated. The truth is the truth, whatever that is. The over all implications and consequences are what are open for debate and discussion but there are some ground rules and the primary being that it has to have som basis in reality. This negates your position since you are at fault from the start. America has not and will not lose in Iraq as long as people think for themselves and can see a bigger picture other than what's on American idol next.  That precludes pretty much anyone that would think that we are losing the war on terror or that our being there is arrogant. So you can do your little sound bite dribble and prance around in a snit but bit the facts are what they are. Progress is being made daily. Even the bad days are another day farther along. Keep this thought if nothing else. We are the greatest nation on this earth. We are the greatest people. We are the only thing that keeps the rest of the world from being swallowed up in it's own bull shit and we do it with nutfucks like you who stab everyone in the back by regugitating propagnada. Fuck you you mindless little twit and God damn you for insulting this country.

30 Err.. Jawa reporters, ever hear of a retraction?

So much for the self correcting blogosphere eh?

Drudged yet again.  Some people never learn.   Maybe because their idiots, or maybe because they just really want to believe.

Of course, both could be true.

Posted by: Davebo at April 02, 2007 04:49 PM (vdjgh)

31 "The truth is the truth, whatever that is."

So long as it's exactly what you want it to be. It's just too bad that reality has such a leftwing bias eh?

Denny's was more fun when it was Sambos' One could sit in a booth, enjoy your meal and watch the picketers through the window. I always considered it intertainment. Shame a free American can't name his restaurant what he chooses. Those that don't like it can always go elsewhere. Denny's has gone downhill ever since they gave into the rabble. Next the rabble will insist on no more bacon or pork chops then cry because they are not top management. The fact that they can't read or write has nothing to do with it.

33 John you're so fucking stupid you think we should stop every muslim and ask if he is a terrorist before stopping him. Dumb ass! When we were forced to bomb the Germans did we ask if they were Nazis or not? I guess we shouldn't have bombed them because some of them didn't invade the rest of Europe. Shit flows out your ears. Asswipe. This war on terrorism has anothr name. It's called the war on Islam. You commie simple minded prick.  America going down the shitter? No room asshole. The little socialist shithole called Canada is already there.
