Lefty Blogger Arrested

There's crazy and then there's Deb Frisch crazy. Apparently Deb Frisch is the latter. Couldn't have happened to a better Lefty blogger. Goldstein says his stalker's arrest had nothing to do with him or his pulled pork sandwich....although I question the timing of that sandwich!

So, am I the only blogger left on the planet who hasn't been stalked by Deb Frisch?

1 Rusty, if it'll make you feel any better, I'll have my people call her people, who in turn will call your people, and set up an actual harassment scenario.
Provided of course, her people, your people, and my people still talk.
Then there's Howie's people that have to be considered.
We have to bring them, as well as Mike's people. If not, none of this will ever work.
See what I'm saying?

Have a good one bud!

2 Holy shit. Didn't see that one coming.

3 You do have that Giz person. For a while I thought it was Frisch.

Rusty, quick question, would saying Chomsky diminishes his work in linguistics with his political views? Am I correct in my interpretations of him as an anarchist? I don't read his work. Nor do I study him. But what I have read is not flattering.

4 lol! Watching a Lefty completely implode like that is always entertaining. Not that I blame Liberals for her, but bushitler hatred was the perfect outlet for a sick biatch like that.

5 Dick, my secretary just faxed you.  Please forward to Deb!

SeeMonk,

Chomsky describes himself as an "anarcho-cynicalist".....but what that means precisely isn't clear.  We know what he's against, just not exactly what he's for...other than things like 'justice' and what not.  When I've heard him talk of the future, it's usual in warmed over Marxist or anarchist terms.  Very vague.

6 Doesn't Comrade Chomsky work for the Ministry of Truth?

Posted by: Improbulus Maximus at August 23, 2006 05:02 PM (v3I+x)

7 He's an anarcho-syndicalist, not that it makes any difference. It's rubbish.

8 Let me add this question then, forgive my ignorance. I don't believe his beliefs are meant to apply to him or to those he would consider the elite or ruling class.(There I go bringing class into it again) I believe he sees himself as a member of an elite ruling class which, would be subject to little or any jurisdiction, or oversight, except what they deemed correct for themselves. Self rule would be the privilege of the elite. Only they are evolved intellectually to the degree they have freedom of thought. His anarchistic socialistic system would apply to the masses, so as to maintain the status quo, which would be determined by the elite class. This system would seem to be if nothing else, despotism by committee.

Does this sound close?

9 Sad.  Sad that it came to this.  A life trashed.  Of course she is to blame for her own mistakes but still.....

10 Her bread never got done to start with.

11 SeeMonk, that class you described Chumpsky seeing himself belonging to is called the intelligentsia by Comrade Marx. The rest of us are either knuckle-dragging proletarians, a term gregturd once used to describe us, telling us much about himself, (loyal patriot my ass), or eeeevil bourgeoisie, who keep the proles poor and prevent the intelligentsia from taking their proper place as masters of the proles.

12 How does Chomsky get so much cred for his work, when it is obvious through his beliefs, under the right conditions he would allow for illicit experiments on helpless people?

13 Gizzard and Greg. (birds of a feather) are stalking right now.

14 I know this has nothing to do with Deb Frisch, and her case is truly sad. I feel terrible for someone whose life is ruled with hatred and obsession. I hope she gets help, but I wanted to address SeeMonk as well:

SeeMonk: You're closer than you think with your description of Chomsky and his followers. While they extoll the virtues of communism or socialism, individually they secretly believe that somehow they are likely to fare better and have more to offer than others because they have an inflated opinion of themselves, have very little understanding of basic human nature and few of them have any experience with actually living under such an oppressive system.

There's is no such thing as the utopia (equal society) they propound. We need only look at past and current communist societies or socialist societies. There is always an upper class that lives in bigger houses, drives nicer cars, eats better food, has better access to power and clean water, etc. only because they're willing to make and enforce the rules.

That equal and equitable utopia exists solely between their ears. Chomsky is blind to the realities.

Sure, there are upper and lower classes in a capitalistic society, but there is also opportunity for anyone willing to work harder to advance.

15 Thanks everyone. I am not as educated as some of the other participants on this site. I do however read a lot. And being a free mind, I do form opinions. In the case of Chomsky, his acceptance seems to fly in the face of his beliefs. I am not advocating tossing the baby with the bath water. But given his ideology, it would seem that he would be shunned by some parts of society, but I do not read much on that. His politics seem to be secondary to his other works. Being he is in linguistics, I feel he may be a greater threat because linguistics are all about communication. I am glad that he perhaps may be to much of an elitist to have bothered to communicate with the common rabble, of which I am a proud member.

16 Oyster, I always loved Winston Churchhill's descriptions of Capitalism and Socialism.  Capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings, as opposed to Socialism being the equal sharing of misery. I don't believe I have ever seen it put better, or in a more understandable form. And Chomsky is nothing more than a psedo-intellectual, talks and acts big, but says nothing of substance. IMHO.

17 Nobody was more proficient with quotes than Churchill.

My fave is:

Woman: Sir, if you were my husband, I would poison your tea.
Churchill: Madam, if you were my wife, I would surely drink it.

18 I wonder if I could get a date with Ms. Frisch. No doubt, she would be exciting. Fun loving, and all that.

The real benefit to political discourse in America, would be that she would have something to do with her time. Second, I could get some good "grudge lovin'" and serve my country yet again!

Oh, and she could start stalking a nobody. This keeps her away from all of you good folks of the Blogosphere.

Can I get an amen?

19 DC my man, Deb is a connoisseur of the fish taco. I don't know if that would make a difference as your handle is gender neutral. However, having made this mistake myself I figured I would share my knowledge with you.

20 How ironic that she may be headed to the pokey.

21 "How ironic that she may be headed to the pokey". Nah, not ironic, but how appropriate that she may be headed to the pokey.
