While the interview is not new, it still has great bearing on current events, and it is well worth watching.
Ken Timmerman is a first-rate investigative journalist, a Nobel prize nominee, the founder of the Foundation for Democracy in Iran and the author of several highly regarded books. Timmerman's books should be considered required reading for all Americans who seek a better understanding of the west's current conflict with Islam as a whole, and Iran in particular.

The self-hating Johnny Leibowitz let Timmerman on his show??? HTF did that happen? Was he trying to discredit him? Sorry, my stomach isn't strong enough to watch the video, so I don't know what happened.

For what it's worth, I'm not against anyone posting about attractive women, but I do like it when the post is actually about a social issue over which we may be concerned. I figure this link applies because it's about the differences between us, with our true allies, VS our mutual, and oppressive enemies
Also saw "300" yesterday. No words can truly describe this film. You just need to see it. But I will point out, as I have said elsewhere, we live in a world of wolves. You can guess which scene I keep replaying in my mind since I saw this film

And I also strongly recommend "Preachers of Hate". It was one of the most profoundly disturbing reads of my life. VERY compelling.

There's just one thing he said that I don't entirely agree with. He suggested funding the opposition. I'm sort of opposed to this since it's likely to attrack opportunists/profiteers (I think).
I believe it would more beneficial to provide the opposition with information and training under direct supervision of USCENTCOMM starting with VoA's Persian service. The reason I insist on CENTCOMM's presence is to weed out Mullahs' infiltrators. And frankly I trust the U.S. military far more than the CIA.
One should also bring Israeli's into the picture (Iranian patriots feel an ancient friendship with the Jews.)
Training camps could be set up in Kurdistan area (with the approval of the Kurds of course).

I believe the correct translation of "We shall never submit" into Arabic is:
لن نستسلمُ
And it's pronounced "Lan nas'taslimo". Note that the pronoun "Nah'no
(we)" is not needed since it's implied in the inflection of the verb.
Compare this with "I shall never submit" "Lan as'taslimo"
لن استسلمُ
