Jesus Pancake Could Be Mohammed

Jesus Pancake(Beachwood, Ohio) While preparing breakfast, Mike Thompson found that one of his pancakes displayed a facial image. Thompson and his wife concluded that the face looked like Jesus Christ. As a result, the Thompsons decided to sell the pancake on eBay.

There has been controversy concerning whether the likeness is of Jesus Christ or another individual. One observer believes it somewhat resembles the prophet Mohammed or, maybe, that hairy guy at the cycle shop. Obviously, a pancake image authentication expert (Mrs. Butterworth?) needs to weigh in on the issue.

In the meantime, it's reported that bidding on the pancake has been light.

2 That is one of the worst looking pancakes I have ever seen. It has that experimental recipe gone horribly wrong look.

3 I don't know, I think it depicts the prophet mohammed and in truth it comes from a cafe that sells pork products - you know, bacon, ham, sausage - time for muslims to take to the street in protest and burn that cafe down. Well? What's to stop them from protesting the presence or close proximity of bars to muslim neighborhoods for instance? How much 'peaceful' protest would it take to shut a bar down, one that is say close to a muslim housing project? It would be easy - 30-40 guys from the arab street, looking menacing, making threats and what customer wouldn't go someplace else? The arab street would have the right to protest and in light of alcohol being so offensive to muslims, wouldn't they be given extra latitude and consideration when the protests turned violent?Same with porn shops and meat markets that sell pork. How about violent protests to enact laws that prohibit bars and porn shops from being within say 1500 meters of any mosque? My favorite would be violent protests for laws that force non-muslim women to cover their heads when in muslim neighborhoods. That would be the crowning jewel, now wouldn't it?

6 Jesus/Muhammad Pancake. Since both individuals lived long before photography was invented and portrait drawings, who knows what either one looks like in order to identify anything resembling the two. It could be Larry, Moe, or Curly!!

7 Joe, I’m about 80% sure it’s Wookiee, but just to be safe, we better pull this pancake mix off the shelves and throw it in the corner with old 7” Mustafa. Jeez, a little flour, syrup and the next thing you know, the bearded ones are burning cars all over Europe.
I’m planning my own little demonstration when the Da Vinchi Code movie comes out. I’m going to take my son’s old Buzz Light Year doll out and light it on fire in the front yard.
Well, back to work …oh and… UHHHH…..death to Hollywood.

8 YEAH, death to .....death. And His name is Jesus Christ, not Mohammed!

11 I think the whole thing is a hoax. Or the seller is hoakie. The bids have been jumping all over the place. Many of the bids have been retracted as bogus. It looks like he seller is running up the price. Alot of the bidders are new ebayers, new as in just since the pancake has shown up on ebay. All in all I think the seller is a crook.

14 Yeah, he sent me another email back stating that he was 'advertising' for his pancake maker. Anyways, how would I have known about a Jesus pancake maker that is currently for sale? I am not really in the market for one at the time being. I just happened to see 'Jesus Pancake' on the MSN home page, and thought 'Are you kidding me?'
