Jeff Corwin Provides Light Snack for Pachyderm

Jeff Corwin forgets the cardinal rule of dealing with wild animals... he got distracted.
Anderson Cooper, to his credit, did not run away, although there may have been some damage to his Underoos.

I like Jeff Corwin, and I hope he was not seriously injured.

1 I heard a story once, supposedly true, that during WW2 a keeper who slept next to the elephant cage was dismembered and eaten by the elephant. Urban legend?  Who knows?  A good research project for when we need a break from all of this global war stuff
                          USA, all the way!

2 That elephant may have been part of the Sikh separatist movement.
You never know...

3 Bwwaaaahahahahahahahaaa!

Reminds me of the time I took a wild-captured and extremely nasty rainbow boa to biology class, and got bitten on the side of the face as I was pointing out the length and sharpness of his... teeth (Which they use to snatch birds out of the air in mid flight).

4 .......................#3 Rainbow boa, man your nuts ..........................

The elephant just thought he had a treat and mistook his elbow for the treat. Seriously, I hope it didn't mess up his arm. Animals are animals and are unpredictable.

5  Mr. Elephant wanted only to go for a refreshing swim and cool off! ....But nooooo... Mr Halliburton, tries to make the elephant stay in the heat for a photo op. Clearly this attack was a result of GLOBAL WARMING!!! TELL GEORGE BUSH TO STOP PLAYING ON OUR FEARS!!!!!

Al Gore

6 Looks like Jeff let his guard down. Elephants are the most dangerous animal on the planet and frequently kill/maim people in the wild and in captivity. I for one tend to give elephants there distance even in a zoo park setting.
