Islamic Site: Pentagon Behind Western Kidnappings

The 'news' site uruknet blames the CIA:

One look at the CPT (Christian Peacemaker Teams) in Iraq website and it becomes obvious who abducted Kember and his associates and why....No doubt all of this Christian activity sincerely upsets the Pentagon and the Bushcons.
Uruknet conveniently leaves out the fact that the video WAS NOT first released on al Jazeera as has been reported in the MSM. Rather, the video was released on a well known terrorist website linked to the Islamic Army in Iraq.

1 This would mean that not only is Bush at war with Islam, but now with Christianity. Can Judaism be far off? But if we fought the JOO, then we would be out of the Middle East, and thereby not at war with Islam or Christianity. It's all too confusing. Maybe if we just blow up a few Buddhists it will all be set straight... I mean, what are they going to do, fight back? Well, except for those Shaolin monks...

2 I'm sure some Canadians and Brits will pick up on this meme shortly and blame the CIA. I mean, who wouldn't, with the proof right there for everyone to see on an Islamist website.

3 My objection to this is not that conspiracy lunatic Kurt Nimmo hatched this absurdity, but that Google considers it "news" (uruknet is one of the Google "news" sites).

4 As long as an article maligns the US, regardless of how riduculous the charges being made are, it will still be condidered news, because somewhere, some moron will believe it. You could substitute US Department of Agriculture for Pentagon and it will still be considered reliable news.

5 Why must people always look for convoluted explanations to events? It's not as if this kidnapping is being pinned on terrorists without reason. They seem to have made a habit of it. And no one but a terrorist could make a video that bad. The guy couldn't work the friggin' camera.

Please pray for Mr. Kember and the others.

6 I met one of the hostages, Tom Fox, on a plane ride on or about January 20, 2005 from Dulles to O'Hare. He was very reserved. It was very unlike me, but I initiated a conversation with him becuase he was looking at some sort of publication that had pictures of Iraq. He had a buzz cut and a bearing that was slightly military. So, I asked him if he had been to Iraq. He said "yes" and he said he had recently been there with a Christian organization doing charitible work. We talked for a long time. He told me that he had been a professional musician. He had only recently begun working for the charity. He said his children probably thought he was nuts for doing the work that he was doing. He knew it was dangerous. We talked about Margaret Hassan and he explained that most of the kidnappings were about money and that the vast majority of those kidnapped were Iraqis. He was guarded about his political views (perhaps because he was against the American intervention and he he could sense that I supported it). He appeared somewhat pessimistic about how things were going in Iraq - but, I could also sense that he thought we might succeed. He had that assured calm that comes only from deep religious faith or from contentment with a life well-lived, or both. I pray for Tom Fox's safe return and for his family. However, having met him I think there are very few who could face his predicament better than he.

had a magazine It is disturbing to see his face on television

7 Allright, #1 Jawa outright owns, blog-wise on the net.

Secondly, as a combat veteran who operated in his missionary area (West Baghdad), and I say this strongly, Tommy boy, if you interfered in any coalition operations or vilified troops in any way on your supposed "crusade" to uncover fictional horrors, you can take your "Gettinintheway" web blogs (Thats what this organization calls itself and uses as email headers)

I Hope you dine on Iraqi Dates for a year in a "saddam-like" hole of hunger as you make feeble attempts to martyr yourself like the Lord Our god.

Your crusade is not noble, its cowardly.
