Is Hamas a "Resistance Movement"?

Some at the State Department have said so, though the official "terrorist" designation apparently remains unchanged.

Is there any chance that this was just a random comment? Is this some sort of trial balloon?

hamas is resistance to civilization. resistance to education. resistance to negotiation. resistance to just plain fucking anything past the 12th century.

3 Hamas was a resistance movement as far as internal PLO politics wer concerned. I mean they fought each other a lot, when they weren't murdering Israeli civilians WITH INTENT!  They are terrrorists, and Rice mispoke, if you want my opinion
