Divide And Conquer

Well, it seems the good old U S of A has the country of origin of 15 out of the 19 9/11 hijackers by the short hairs:

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia has told the Bush administration that it might provide financial backing to Iraqi Sunnis in a war against Iraqi Shiites if the United States withdraws from
Iraq, The New York Times reported on Tuesday, citing American and Arab diplomats.

King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia delivered that message to
Dick Cheney during the U.S. vice president's brief visit last month to Riyadh, the newspaper said, citing the officials it did not name.

Cheney traveled to Saudi Arabia, a close U.S. ally [close ally, yeah right - V] and the world's top oil exporter, to discuss Iraq and how to break the deadlock in the Arab-Israeli conflict.

During the visit, King Abdullah expressed strong opposition to diplomatic talks between the United States and
Iran, which is largely Shi'ite, the Times said.

The Iraq Surrender Group has had a useful purpose all along. They're scaring the bejebus out of every tinhorn, pisspot thugocracy in the Middle East by suggesting that we "dialogue" with Iran and Syria. Well, every tinhorn, pisspot thugocracy that isn't named "Iran" or "Syria."

1 Good post Vinnie. I heard about this, but you add a bit of flavor to what seemed bland elswhere.

Also I'd like to mention to 'civilbehavior', it isn't exactly like turning off a spigot. There are maybe three, or four ways to stop the oil money.

One possibility; replace oil with some sort of miracle fuel that makes oil a pathetic choice.

Second possibility; conquer it all by force, since the guys who have it will happily sell it to the rest of the world, even if we never bought another drop. Then we could use the cash to stop global (insert crisis here)!

Third option; nuke the middle east so that no one can have it.

Or if you believe, then it may actually be possible to appeal to the better qualities of humanity. Give them something better than jihad in the name of Allah, and for the local dictators. You Know ... freedom, and democracy! But I guess that option is just pie-in-the-sky to some folks, ain't it?

So absent a new, free society whats left? Technological breathrough, or war.

Unless 'civilbehavior' has a secret recipe for 'miracle fuel', it looks like we do this hard! If you, civibehavior do have the secret to super fuel, and you sell the product dirt cheap, then I gues you won't be making any profit, and you probably will get tired of hearing about Al Gore.

Anyway, I'm glad I popped in.

USA all the way!

2 "and the world's top oil exporter"  with Iraq being the second largest reserve and Iran the third........Oh but, but, we went there to free them and give them democracy.......

Foolish Americans.......the best thing you can do for the rest of your lives if you want to "stop terrorists" is to stop the flow of oil revenue to the Middle East.  You people never get it do you?

3 OF COURSE! Its all so fiendishly simple. No wait, its needlessly complicated.

Where do you live? you stupid pinko hippy, am I assume it's nowhere that relies on petroleum fuel, nor Oil for manufacturing? no? stfu. Here's a little hint for you: if we stopped buying all Oil tomorrow India, and China would buy it instead, money still flows to the middle-east.
I'm sure someone without a cerebral cortex, damaged by liberalism could figure it out.

6 Stopping the oil revenue effectively "stops the war on terror"  if for no other reason it shuts down the support that is given to the madrasses.  Look to Saudi Arabia, Bush's boys in oil. they were the financiers of the 911 hijackers not Iraq but without Iraq and Iran the US doesn't have the control of the spigot.

If either decided to go euro (which Saddam was threatening to do and was his biggest threat) it would have been devastating for the US. Our economy is on shaky ground as it is.  9 trillion in debt and a third of it owed to communists?

Yeah, you guys who think nuking the world have really thought this out.

And as for miracle fuel.......start with your American car manufacturers and your Republican Congressman who refused to address CAFE standards in the last energy bill.  No one is saying the Chinese and India aren't going to suck it down but let them try to find a way without bankrupting their treasuries and nations blood to keep it stable.  In the meantime we shoud be working on a Mahattan project to turn down our own spigot.

Foolish Americans.........stupid redneck hypocrites....(now that makes us even Davec, silly boy)

7 Snivel Behaviour:

How do you propose to stop oil revenue, retard? It cant be done peacefully.

By the way, your beloved Dhimmiecrats are the vermin who oppose ethanol as a substitute for oil, even though it's the only viable option.

Rednecks are good Americans. You are not. You don't belong in Georgia, boy. Islamopithecines belong in the zoo.

I agree they do not know what the solution to foreign oil is, they just talk about global warming without talking about the solution

but MSNBC and Red Herring have recently covered the fact that algae is a hundred times more productive than other biofuel feedstocks (like corn ethanol)
