A Call for Action Against Death Fatwa
Blogger Ali Eteraz is issuing a Call to Action against the fatwa recently issued calling for the death of writer Rafiq Tagi. He is encouraging fellow Muslims to contact the Grand Ayatollah who issued the fatwa and request a reconsideration.

It looks like he was also sentenced to 2 months in <a href="http://www.lemonde.fr/web/article/0,1-0@2-3214,36-840833@51-840938,0.html">prison</a> by a tribunal in Baku on 15 November for inciting ethnic hatred. (Sorry for the link being in French, but it is all that I have...)

Maybe the "grand" ayatollah will also reconsider his personal grooming habits and buy a bar of soap.
I think I will hold my breath waiting.
