1 When are people going to understand that Indonesia is a muslim dominated country? Same as Iran, Syria, Pakistan, Iraq. Of course they attack Christians. That's what muslims do. The local Muslims in Central Sulawesi want peace and for things to go back the way it was before the conflict where Muslims and Christians lived in peace. It's the Islamists that don't want peace. It was hard for me to wrap my head around the concept of there being two types of Muslims. Having lived in the Middle East I only knew the Islamists. Here in Indonesia there are definitely two types. And the Muslims who are not Islamists are also persecuted and intimidated by the Islamists just the same as Christians, Hindus and Buddhists but obviously not to the same extent. They are seen as apostates. That's why the Islamists didn't care if any Muslims were killed in the JW Marriot Hotel or Australian Embassy bombings in Jakarta. Islamists see those Muslims as heretics.

Where we live is safe. West and Central Java is not safe for the both of us as we've both been fatwa'd over the weekend for our involvement in Poso and Palu and for speaking out against Islamic Defenders Front, Laskar Jihad and Stan's site calling out against the persecution by Islamists. I am a Kafir Harbi (enemy infidel) of Islam and will continue to be a thorn in the side of them. My brother the pastor is a good guy and speaks up and takes a stand for what is right and just, and is basically calm and hard to upset. I used to tease the shit out of him when we were younger. Hell, I still do it now. I speak up because I'm a big obnoxious prick at times and generally enjoy pissing off Islamists and Liberals. If someone pisses me off I'll generally punch him out. I have low tolerance for goofs.But one thing we have in common is our love for Jesus and we will lay our lives down for Him in a heartbeat. And we're not afraid to be in the fight. I'm looking at going down to Australia right now and protest against the Sheiks down there. Someone has to take the garbage out and the Aussies are a little slow on the draw right now.
