2 Bali Bombers Sentenced but Proud for their Role in Mass Murder

Two of the Bali bombers have been convicted with what seem like light sentences for their role in the mass murder. Oh, and at least one of them believes Allah is proud of him for helping kill 202 people. Allah seems like such a loving and caring god.

Jakarta Post:

The Denpasar District Court sentenced two men on Thursday to eight and 18 years in prison respectively for their roles in last year's Bali restaurant bombings.

Muhammad Cholily, 28, was found guilty of assembling bombs used in the Oct. 1, 2005, attacks. Calling his 18-year sentence "the sweetest birthday gift", Cholily smiled and gave the thumbs-up after getting the sentence, which was three years longer than had been recommended by prosecutors. He was born on Sept. 8.

"In the eyes of Allah there is no guilty person," Cholily said as quoted by AFP....

But the judge said he had refrained from handing down an even longer prison term for Cholily, who was found guilty of supplying the equipment used in the attacks, because the bomb-maker had admitted his crime.

Admitted and proud. How's that for justice? Hat tip Infidel Stan.

1 He should be shot with a frozen pork-lard bullet, sown into a pigskin shroud, and buried with his asshole facing Mecca...

Actually, this should be the standard punishment for any Muslime antagonist or collaborator convicted of terroristic crimes.

2 Can anyone remind me why he's not getting the noose? Didn't the cops bring in the drug-sniffing dogs along with the bomb-sniffing dogs?

Sheesh. It's poor justice that he gets an Indonesian jail cell while his victims remain dead.

3 Of course they are proud. Deception, lying, backstabbing, playing both sides, and especially murder are high arts in the Muslim world. In their eyes, they have a lot to be proud of.

5 And then they recruit while they're in prison and then send out the replacement deviants when the recruit's sentence is finished. Think of how many minds Bashyir poisoned while he was in prison. He got to lead Friday prayers in Cipinang prison. I can just imagine what he was preaching. "I want all you poor Muslim brothers to unite. It's America's fault that you committed crimes and are in prison. Unite with me in Jihad against the oppressive West!!!" It's a Muslim thing and a Javanese cultural thing. Even though Bashyir is the spiritual leader of JI and encouraged and blessed the Bali bombers to kill many, he is to be treated with respect because of his position in Javanese society. The same happens with politicians charged with corruption. It's ridiculous and pisses off the foreigners and Christians here. Bashyir should be executed along with the other bomber scum that he gave his blessing to!!

7 How many of those lenient judges are Muslims? Or will I get beheaded for asking?

8 What should happen is that they should be eaten alive by a flock of starving vultures getting their eyes ripped out
