Imus is NOT a Conservative, Leftards

Just to nip this little whiff of lefty paint fumes before they waft beyond the fever swamps - Imus would likely take umbrage at the dubbing of him as "conservative."

Unless by "conservative," you mean a 2004 Kerry supporter who thinks the President and VP should be hanged.

He's one of your own, libs. Strange, all the racism emanating from the left these days. See here or here.

1 You think it is strange that racism emanates from the left?

You're one of the more clueless jawas...

2 Facetious.

 Look it up.

3 Wasn't it that moron democrat Howard Dean who made that blatantly racist joke about the hotel staff?  I'll bet black Democrats couldn't stop laughing at that one, just like Asians couldn't stop laughing at that fat ass jokester Rosie O'donell.  But I guess you can be racist Liberal as long as you don't use the N word or some other magic word like "nappy".  Then and only then do Leftards get called out.  Whatever, an extremely rare instance in which a Leftard finally gets busted for their racism.

4 LOL! I listened to him for about a year when he was on one of my local stations. He may not be far left but he is most certainly on the left. Its the mere fact that he is not a leftist parrot that makes him  on the right.

5 IMUS today...ALL CONSERVATIVES FOREVER. IMUS WAS SET UP TO GET
CONSERVATIVES!!

6 #5 - That's what this is really about. Its a dress rehearsal for taking on the bigger dogs.

It won't work, but its gonna be fun watching them try to stifle and oppress ideas and political speech they don't agree with.

Like the good little Stalinists that they are.

7 I wouldn't worry too much about that.  Leftards like beating that drum about conservatives, but they can find precious little evidence for it (except for rooster) and it won't affect the conservative message one iota.

8 There was REAL HARM done to the Rutgers womens team... by everyone that went after Imus and kept talking about this rather than talking about young women playing basketball.

Jessie "Hymietown" Jackson?  Al Sharpton??  They made their names larger by dragging these women through the mud.   Imus didn't help things by going on his groveling tour.

9 It isn't surprising they would think he was a conservative. Looking at his ratings, it doesn't appear that very many people in the country listened to him.  They have probably never heard his show and just jumped to that conclusion.  He is rated, what, 20th in his timeslot?

10 So now Imus knows what it's like to be a conservative.  Boo hoo.  And he's got O'Donut on his side screeching about the "speech police".  Maybe they should team up and have their own pig and pony show.  (My sincere apologies to the animal kingdom for that comparison.)

11 Well I don't know whether Imus is a conservative or a liberal HOWEVER I do see that more conservatives seem to be defending him than liberals. The people most strongly attacking him seem to be liberals, if he is a liberal I guess this shows that liberals will criticize one of their own for bad behavior.

12 Conservatives aren't defending Imus, they're criticizing Liberals.  Big diff.  Shows how conservatives will defend free speech even when it involves a Liberal.

13 Don Imus is a claimed republican who votes for Kerry, calls the president a moron (not as bad as the word nappy) is against the war in Iraq. Believes in global warming. He's a fucking democrat for sure.

He has done some truly great things in helping kids with cancer. Which I think is far more important than calling a nappy head, a nappy head. Without the money he generated on his shows those kids with cancer will no longer have the experience Don Imus and his wife gave them. Black cry babies and the cowards who bow to them have done more than get Imus fired. They have denied hundreds of sick kids some happiness in their last few years. FOR ME I'M SICK OF BLACKS. They are like a anchor around America's neck. They add nothing of consequence to this society.

14 LOL. You just, once again, don't get it John. Conservatives aren't defending him...they are defending free speech while your side is, once again, attempting to quash it. These days only one side consistently attempts to quash free speech. From the "Fairness" doctrine to the countless attacks on conservative speakers at universities across this country the modern left is the Stalinist party of censorship and thought police. And just look...your proud of it. When I was a kid liberals where champions of free speech. Not any more.Very sad.

15 I do see that more conservatives seem to be defending him than liberals.

You really have to purposely be dense to miss the point here. John Ryan demonstrates nicely why liberals can't be trusted to protect free speech anymore. The second they object to something being said, they'll try to shut it down like the Communists tried to shut down Samizdata..

And yes, JR, free speech can be racist, vile and stupid. THAT'S THE ENTIRE POINT OF PROTECTING THE SPEECH - ITS NOT POPULAR SOMETIMES SO IT NEEDS TO BE PROTECTED FROM THE LIKES OF YOU.

The reason the Founding Fathers put that pesky little FA into the Constitution is to prevent totalitarians like you from using the government to quash it because your widdle feewings got hurt.

And no Democrat can revoke it. What a terrible country we live in.

16 FOR ME I'M SICK OF BLACKS. They are like a anchor around America's neck. They add nothing of consequence to this society.

That's actually far from true and quite racist. You have the right to think and say it, but I vehemently disagree.

I don't despise races. I despise racial politics, which exist to do nothing but divide, blame, and inflame.

Posted by: Good Lt at April 12, 2007 10:52 AM (yMbfY)

17 Well said Lt. If rooster wants to hate some people for setting this system up he better start hating on we white people as well because white liberals are more responsible for this whole perpetuation of racial tension thing than black people are.

Posted by: Randman at April 12, 2007 11:40 AM (Sal3J)

18

All who have said that I despise or hate blacks is a liar. Where did I say such? Bullshit liberal assumptions. Brainwashed??  Sound like liberals. Bend, exxagerate, stretch.

"That's actually far from true and quite racist" (1) Of course it's racist. I'm a racist.

(2)  "They add nothing of consequence to this society" "Far from true"?  Show me.

Posted by: greyrooster at April 12, 2007 03:35 PM (2J0r9)

19 Conservatives always take the oposite side of blacks. They just won't admit it. Academia has conditioned them to (ssshhhh it's bad to say that). Maybe the big black dude in class behind them has something to do with it. I mean attacking a white or brown isn't racist. Only the other way around. Three blacks kill a white race. State charges, if any. Three whites kill a black State and Federal charges plus 52 various civil rights charges amounting to 700 or so years. Grow the fuck up. Open you friggin eyes. What is, Is.

"Far from true" Show me still stands.
