Jawapalooza In Sin City

I'll be in Vegas in early June to attend this.

I won't have time to meet any fellow bloggers though. I'll be too busy either listening to the fine roster of speakers or handing out pamphlets to the tourists on the Strip. Although I may take in a show.

3 I don't know, Rusty, that convention sound more like a pukefest to me. But on the bright side you can bone up on your math skills counting all the lies told by that panel of "experts".

4 Hey JJ, this is kinda OT, but is there any good quail shooting in your neck of the woods? I'm planning a fall quail safari, so I'm open to suggestions.

5 No, IM, the quail have been decimated by fire ants and habitat destruction. The last quail hunt I went on was in Kansas. They were plentiful during my younger days, and I enjoyed hunting quail and doves both. Times have changed for the worse, IM. A real shame.

6 Well that sucks. I remember there used to be lots of quail and grouse habitat here too, but not much anymore. We have tons of geese, doves, and turkeys, but I don't eat geese or doves, and you don't wingshoot turkeys. I guess I'll have to go to one of those big Georgia plantations and pay the price.
