AL QAEDA NETWORK TARGETED; 27 SUSPECTED TERRORISTS DETAINED

Via Centcom

BAGHDAD, Iraq – Coalition Forces detained 27 suspected terrorists during a series of coordinated raids targeting the al-Qaeda in Iraq network Wednesday morning.

These operations disrupt al-Qaeda in Iraq’s ability to operate within their network.

During a series of raids in Ramadi, Coalition Forces detained 20 suspected terrorists with alleged ties to the al-Qaeda in Iraq networks. Ground forces seized computers and electronic equipment during the operations.

In Baghdad, Coalition Forces detained four suspected terrorists and detained three more suspects in Karmah, all with alleged ties to the al Qaeda in Iraq network.

Coalition Forces continue methodical, deliberate efforts to eliminate terrorism in Iraq.

That's great. Hopefully the computers and electronic equipment were found due to terrorist propaganda releases. Enemy propaganda is curiously in short supply this morning, only one IED video. That's odd to me because lately there has been a lot of it. Good deal :-)
