Hutchison Planning to Vote Against Cloture?

One of the key Senators in [the moderate swing] group is Kay Bailey Hutchison. Being from Texas, one of the border states most affected by immigration issues, her input on this bill may carry significant weight on the rest of the undecideds. If so, the bill's backers may have a real problem on their hands. A Senate source told me a few minutes ago that Hutchison intends to vote against cloture, and will have a statement to that effect later today.This is good news.

I called Senator Hutchison's Office number in D.C. this morning at about 0820hrs Pacific, phone# (202)224-5922, and talked to a male (unknown).
I was told, by him, that she was against the immigration bill. Hope it's true!

Funny how when I called Senator Trent-I'vebeenaPublicServant35years-Lott's office this morning, all I got was a recording saying his message center/voice mail was full. Fu*K Lott a whole lot!!! FU*K YEAH!!!

I'm going to go ahead and take credit for this if it's okay with everyone. After all, it did come after I sent an email notifying her of me and all of my friends who will be voting for even the most liberal Democrat in order to get her out of office should she vote for cloture or the bill.
