1 Jason, No links to that site allowed here.  I have the vid and it's shit.  It does show a SA 7 shootdown of a chopper.  Lot's of allahu akbar shit.  Low quality and no verifyable information. Its just jihadi propaganda and low quality.  We've reported these shootdowns and the enemy has some SA 7s in the past.  It seems they got a new shipment.

So what do you want me to report. Post the vid? or the link to the original mother of all terrorist websites that resides of blogspot.

At least report it. People should know what the bastards did to the two pilots. Sorry, Rusty used to post links to the website.

4 And just what (new) information is in the vid about the pilots?  None that I saw.  Maybe I have an incomplete copy? I try not to spread jihadi propaganda unless I have a point to make or jihadis to make fun of. I've been ask not to post links to that site here, so I don't.

7 Thanks, it's important since four helicopters have been shot down in one month. I'm not supporting terrorist propaganda.

8 No I did not say you were.  I agree four is a lot in a month.  I indicates to me that they have a new batch of missiles.  They had some and then for a while they were gone.  Then in December they seemed to start using them again.  I did see a story on CNN about it today, I'll try and get to it no promises.  Sorry,  I don't have much time to blog.

10 I think that certain rights can be limited if the country faces an imminent threat of a homegrown Islamist terrorist attack.  I'm inclined to believe that the Second Amendment is one of them.

11 NorthernCross -

What limitations would you propose?

12 To paraphrase the words of Justice Goldberg, the Bill of Rights is not a suicide pact.  My point is that I think the Second Amendment can be limited as a matter of national security.

For example, I would favor a lifetime firearms ban on all those convicted of terrorism-related crimes even after they serve out their sentences.  I would also consider limitations on the purchases of certain firearms by people known to have vocally supported groups like Hamas and Hezbollah even if they haven't technically broken any laws.  Not saying that I would favor such restrictions in the end, only that we should not take them off the discussion table merely because it involves the right to bear arms.
