10 I do agree with you for the most part then, if that's what you meant.  But you don't consider the political realities obviously.  Israel is bound hand and foot and to expect them to drive the Arabs before their Merkavas as in days of old is unrealistic.  I wish it weren't so, but it is.  I don't blame Israel for that.

I don't believe that any nation is bound, they lack the will and they lack the  leadership. Politics and realities have nothing to do with each other, just look at ours! We have a Vice President who is 110% all business and they want us to have to choose to vote between people we wouldn't buy a car from! There is always an excuse, there is always a reason not to. It's bullshit. It's the "it's not our fault" mindset it's the same as the " we hate you because of what you did 187 years ago" crap that comes out of the arab side. Israel's fight IS our fight. Islam want's a world of Sharia, and subservient Dhimmi's and there is one great obstacle in their way. It sure the hell ain't Israel. Israel is an excuse to motivate enlistment to the Jihad, but if it were gone, they would find another. Maybe Spain? They had conquered it before, so they will naturally want it back as soon as the israel question is resolved.

The middle east is, and always has been strategic. Either great empires were seated upon it, or they had to pass through it. Oil just keeps it relevent in an age of Jets, and transoceanic shipping.  The truth is that we benefit from Israel being there, even if we never planned it that way. It's good to have a friend over there who's people aren't flying jets into our skyscrapers.

Islam was in resurgence before Israel was reborn, and we would have had to deal with this crap sooner or later. I will not blame Israel for the hate of Muhammeds faithful legions. We are all infidels, and Israel does not change that.

I don't blame Israel for the mindset of the crazy nut jobs over there, there is ample reasons why that part of the world is 3rd and 4th world societies still.  I do however object to being led deeper into this whole thing by another country that does not take care of it's own and plays the "we are the victim card".
