Bali Bombers Freed

How can there be an effective campaign against terrorism when there are virtually no meaningful consequences for the perpetrators? This report really frosts my cookies.

From The Courier-Mail:

Two Islamic militants jailed for the Bali bombings that killed 202 people were freed today and nine others had their sentences reduced to mark the end of the Islamic fasting month, officials said.

Indonesia traditionally marks national holidays by cutting prison terms for inmates who exhibit good behaviour - usually by several months - but the decision is likely to anger countries that lost citizens in the 2002 attacks on two crowded nightclubs. [Ya' think?]

Eighty-eight of those killed were Australians.

Sirojul Munir left the jail in East Kalimantan's capital of Balikpapan early today after 45 days were shaved from his five-year sentence, said Edi, a prison official who uses a single name.

The paperwork has been completed for the other militant, Mujarod bin Salim, said Ilham Jaya, the warden at the main prison on Bali island, and he was technically a free man.

He was expected to leave the jail within an hour.

The international community needs to do something about the regular miscarriage of justice occurring in Indonesia. People are being murdered by thug Islamist terrorists with impunity. And it's going to get worse unless pressure is applied on the government to take stronger action. The Bali bombers should have been executed.

1 No surprise here. Didn't we know it was going to happen.

JIM BEAM: British airways has forbid employees and passengers from the wearing of crosses on their persons. Is this an example of the Brits getting tired of muslim crap? Apparently muslims can still wear the signs of Islam.

2 Correction apparently that was only the employee that was dismissed for wearing cross. She had worn it for the past 7 years.

3 I hear those Aussie SAS boys are pretty good....

We can't rely on these countries to do "justice", because more than half of them probably applaud such attacks. Justice comes at the end of a JDAM.

4 Welcome to my world! Another church burned last night by the same group of Muslims who attacked police with guns, rocks, homemade bombs and molotov cocktails the night before because police were searching for weapons and militants (gee do ya think they found them?) You can read more about it on my site. The Indonesian government rewards terrorists with remissions on prison sentences. That defies logic in the real world but is normal here. Mudjarot was also involved in the 2000 Christmas day church bombing in Mojokerto with the same group of terrorists for which he hasn't stood trial for. And he only served half his light sentence for aiding the Bali bombers.

I've started a motorcycle group (not in the sense of a criminal gang as all members are church going Christians) here in North Sulawesi. I want to call it "The Crusaders". Do you think that will cause a problem here in Indonesia? Hahahahaha!!!

5 Right on spade. Let the MOABs fall on on their asses, and to hell with the collateral damage. For some odd reason, the entire world revels in the savage acts of these barbarians, and are content with administering severe slaps on the wrist. Has anyone ever seen the movie "Swordfish"? The point of the movie is to respond to terrorism with such swift and brutal justice that terrorist scum are afraid to act in the first place. We need a worldwide vigilantiism organization (WVO-sounds nice) that will hunt down and eliminate first the families (the only thing Muslim scum cherish besides their religion) and then the terrorists themselves. Acts of terror would decline, guaranteed. I volunteer to lead this proposed WVO...whose with me!!!???

6 Not to worry GreyRooster. I'm sure your statement will be true in time. I wouldn't be surprised if the Moonbrits are busy at this moment researching legalities to apply the banning of the crosses to the passengers as well. They will probably claim the crucifix can be used as a weapon. I never was fond of flying anyway....

7 Excellent idea Smirk! The muslims apparently have no fear of death and actually embrace death. But if we start posting videos of their mothers and grandmothers and babies being tortured, maybe that will slow them down! You in Maxie? I'll buy the camera.

8 Some moonbat was throwing hissie fits about criticism of Indonesia concerning the executing of the Christian " terrorists " just a month ago. The moonbat was all in a dither saying that the muslim terrorists were slated for execution also and we were being prejudiced and hypocritical. At that time someone put forth the notion that the muslimes would eventually be pardoned. Sad to see it finally came to pass. Now where is that friggin moonbat?

9 I'm telling you-target their families and they will calm the fuck down. Maybe killing them is a little harsh (at first), but imprisoning them isn't. Besides, they know what papa is up to when he's not herding sheep, so they are aiding and abedding anyway. Throw them in prison, demand that the terrorist turn himself in, and if he doesn't, kill them and then hunt him down anyway. Fighting a gentleman's war against these throwbacks is stupid. They don't mind killing themselves or dying at the hands of the infidels because it gives them what they want most: martydom. And they still have the family (and a son) to carry on his memory and the jihadi tradition. Eliminate the entire family and be done with it. It may sound brutal to some, but I am serious, and if that makes me a savage, so be it. Terrorists aren't innocent, so its not like I am advocating killing puppies (or office workers in the World Trade Center) or anything. So yes, moonbats, I hate Muslim terrorists and think they and their families should be killed. So don't respond to this post because most of what you say about me I'll totally agree with. Save your breath.
I AM JACK'S SMIRKING REVENGE.

10 Larry,

There is a possibility that they may escape execution. The defence team is saying the death sentence law for terrorists came into effect after the bombings and shouldn't be retro-active. Technically, by Indonesian law, they're right. Mind you, it wouldn't surprize me if the sentences are changed to life or 20 years. This is Indonesia, where there is no logic. Whether or not the Indonesian gov't listens to them or abides by the law is anybody's guess. The gov't seems bent on executing them to even up with the three Christians executed.  The gov't has to execute three Muslims so it pushed through the execution of the three Christians to make it even. This isn't about justice for 202 innocent people killed. It's about religion here. The gov't couldn't care less about the dead tourists.

Posted by: Stan the Infidel in Indonesia at October 24, 2006 12:03 PM (Hm8Vo)

11 Exactly, Stan, which is why tourists should stay away, and we should refuse to buy anything made in Indonesia, unless by Indonesian Christians. The only people we should be encouraging and enriching in Indonesia are Christians. And that is what I intend to do with my resources.

12 Those are some horrible ideas, guys, but not horrible enough.
Here's a tactic that should be even more of a deterrant to terrorists than killing or imprisoning their families.  Kidnap them, and convert them to Christianity, or better yet, Judaism.  If the mother refuses to convert, put the kids up for adoption, and sterilize her.  Imagine the terrorist having to worry about losing Allah's little future firecrackers to the enemy side, while he's trying to concentrate on setting the timer.
That would make jihadism work against them, but I guess it's way too politically incorrect.

Posted by: Nell at October 24, 2006 04:28 PM (8VZm2)

13 Stan, being that it is Indonesia where there is no logic and that it is predominately muslim, it is a given that the terrorists will escape execution. I'm guessing that the Bali Bombers are freed as the article says, and will remain free, as long as they promise to keep planning more terrorist attacks. And Stan, thanks for your bravery in being a beakon of light to those savages over there!

14 Say,  why didn't they show some generosity towards others by releasing the Schapelle Corby, the girl who has been sentenced to a 20 year prison term for drug smuggling in Indonesia.

That would have been an excellent showing of good will!

Posted by: Kay at October 24, 2006 09:40 PM (PbGA+)

15 Good point. However we know why they were released. Once again showing what a gutter religion this Islam is. They have no idea what justice is.  Yermom should note this is not a predomenately white country. Without whitey there can be no justice.
