Scroll, scroll, scroll...
Afghanistan is suffering its heaviest insurgent attacks since a U.S.-led military force toppled the Taliban in late 2001 for harboring Al Qaeda leader Usama bin Laden.
Remember my post about Hamid Mir appearing on Beck's show?
Was warned to not embed with NATO troops in Afghanistan anymore.
There is no timeframe for any attacks, inside U.S. or Afghanistan. Backs up 300 suicide bomber claim by saying that shortly after he returned to Pakistan, suicide attacks began in Afghanistan, which is true.
Most of these attacks have, indeed, been suicidal. The title of the post is "dig deep." If you follow the news, you don't have to dig too far.
So, based on this, should we ascribe credibility upon Hamid Mir?
Not necessarily.
But, it's not paranoia if they're really out to get you.
Update: Crap. I forgot. Death to America.

"Afghanistan has suffered its heaviest insurgent attacks since ... 2001" is not how I would describe this summer's wipeout of the Taliban, which is in preparation for NATO's takeover from CFC-Afghanistan.
