I LIKED, "Fred Smacks Down the UN".
Stunningly, I think Jimmy Carter had an idea that might work on the UN shenanigans. When Carter was not admitting that he did indeed "have lust in his heart", he was talking about zero-based budgeting. This meant start each gov't dept off with a budget of zero each fiscal year, and make them defend every line item down to paper clips. Pay for only those things that dept can justify, for that fiscal year. Americans were enamoured of this approach for about 5 minutes.
I THINK, HOWEVER, that zero-based budgeting could be very useful in dealing with the UN. Since the US pays the greatest share of UN dues (why, by the way?), it should be able to cherry pick what UN programs it wants to support, and use zero-based budgeting on those programs, to determine how much it wall pay for those programs. Let Zimbabwe, or someone else pay for any negligent paper-clip over-runs.

Jimmy Carter never had and idea that worked in his life. Peanut farming was the most complicated thing he could master. I remember the 21% interest first time home buyers had to endure because the that idiots failure at leadership. The Jimmy Carter plan. Negative amorization. The first and only time in U.S. history. The sissy punk embolded the muslims by his inaction in Iran. He was a punk in office and still is. As far as the UN. What a joke The UN only takes action when America says we are going to do it regardless of what the UN thinks. Example: 20,000 UN forces denied peacekeeping efforts in Darfur because the UN doesn't wish to upset the muslims killing hundreds of thousands of non muslims. TODAY.
