He's ignoring the first rule of holes, and now he's struck a gas line by vowing to ignore progress in Iraq reported to him by the General he and his buddies confirmed with no opposing votes. Ignoring them while continuing to push for their starvation in battle.
That's patriotism, kids. The real heroes are in the US Congress.
Willfully cherry-picking facts and believing what one wants to while intentionally ignoring all evidence and factual certitude to the contrary.
Wasn't that a criticism the left made of Bush?
Quite amusing how all that changes when its their narrative being threatened with reality on the ground.
This, of course, all means one thing - the surge is working. Early news reports of its successes just out of its infancy threatened to blow the carefully constructed Democrat mirage of lies and distortions to hell with each new report indicating success. They're in danger of opposing this success. That can't allow this to happen. It would mean the end of the neo-liberal movement and the Democrat Party for a generation.
So what do the Democrats do? Why, they heroically recapture the headlines by engaging in illegal, groveling negotiations with terror-supporting dictators while declaring the war over, done with and lost - after they spend $25 billion trying to buy enough votes in Congress to kneecap the Troops in battle. Heroes.
Its not like the news will press that angle as much as the press the WARISLOST angle every single day. Not enough time to report on progress in Iraq. Too many psychopathic killers and anti-Semitic race hustlers need their limelight, after all.

I wanted to put the subject in there...but you don't have TREASON in the categories.
Mr. Reid, It is my opinion that you are guilty of treason. The remarks you have made and the attitude you have taken towards Gen. Petraeus and the other soldiers that are fighting for our safety is reprehensible.
I realize that I am from Tennessee, but you truly cannot say that I'm not one of your constituents...your words endanger ALL Americans...when this happens..constituency is rendered nugatory. I ask simply that you stop giving aid and comfort to the terrorist factions through your negative words and defeatist attitude!
Its a disservice to those who've given their lives to make our country safe as well as a slap in the face to those troops that are in the field already.
Sincerely,
One of your opponents!
ps. Grow a spine willya?

I think federal law prevents me from expressing my opinion of H. Gollum Reid! I'll settle for 'He is a traitor'!
USA, all the way!
