America. Wow! She actually places the blame where it should be. No
blame Bush and the West. How is it that a Muslim pop singer has more
common sense than most of their "thinkers".

Good information that helps me remember that there are Muslims who do want to live in real freedom, and peace.
Also, I think Howie just got some competition in the 'hot chicks' catagory of posts.
I agree more with Lance about the skin comments. If you could see it on a public beach without it being indecent, I don't see a problem with it showing up in art, or music. We are not the Taleban, (just poking at you with a stick, and a smile, OK?)
Plus in the eighties I lived in a place where you could have used the stacks of porn for furniture, so Deeyah seems way more like the sweet, fun, girl next door, than a threat to moral values. Let her show her little bit of skin. She at least does some good with it
