Unfortunately for 25-year-old Lafave, when she was engaging in sex with the boy, she was committing crimes in two different jurisdictions. Although her case has been settled in Hillsborough County, it remains to be adjudicated in Marion County.
Yesterday, Marion County prosecutors and Lafave's attorney, John Fitzgibbons, presented a plea agreement to Judge Hale Stancil to resolve the charges against Lafave. Unexpectedly, Judge Stancil rejected the plea agreement and set April 10 as the trial date.
According to Ric Ridgeway, a spokesman for the State Attorney's Office, Judge Stancil said he had some concerns which needed to be addressed. The attorneys have promised to have a new plea agreement before the scheduled trial date.
Consequently, the soap-opera sex saga of Debra Lafave continues. Stay tuned.

They can place her under house arrest at my place - I promise to keep her away from the neighborhood boys. Can she cook? Doesn't matter.
Just trying to save the taxpayers some money.
There was an old legal term for this - I believe it was called Indentured Servitude. Any offers from anyone else - you must be over 21 to apply (except where noted - void where prohibited - all offers must be postmarked NLT 31 DEC '05)

like her growing up. I guess Texas believes in ugly teachers
so students can concentrate on work instead of the teacher.
