Via CBS News:

(AP) A jury Tuesday convicted a woman of murdering her Marine husband with arsenic to cash in on his $250,000 life insurance policy to finance a luxurious lifestyle.

The jury also found that Cynthia Sommer, 33, committed the first-degree murder with the special circumstances of poisoning and for financial gain.

Sommer, who stared forward as the verdict was read, faces life in prison without possibility of parole because of the special circumstances. She will be formally sentenced March 23.

3 She should hang, preferably on post at Camp Pendleton, on the rifle range... down range of course.

4 Life is prison? What the hell is our justice system turning into. The tax payers now spend $50,000 per year for the next 50 years keeping this scum in prison. Bullshit. The bitch should hang. And I mean soon.

5 Since she bought new tits with insurance money, can we repossess them. Oh ,and lock her up in a cell with "bubba" let him screw the life out of her for all eternity.

6 However: 40 years from now some attorney can get her out on faulty DNA evidence.

7 Greyrooster, the death penalty is pointless since she would simply be kept alive for thirty years while attorneys argue lethal injection is cruel. Michael Morales has been on death row for about 25 years years but just before he was to be executed, some stupid prick doctors did not want to participate in the execution because the injection might hurt even though the guy raped and strangled Teri Winchell to death. Some stupid judge than postponed his execution indefinitely and he is still alive and will be for several more years or until he dies of old age. This is why I don't support the death penalty in my country. We don't even execute people anymore. At least Iraq executes people within a year or two at the most.

8 Of course you don't support execution. You're a lefturd. That's part of the agenda that you must follow to be a good lefturd. Simply because we take forever to execute scum is not a reason not to. What needs to happen is law requiring the death penalty to be done within 1 yr. 1 yr is adequate for an appeal.

9 Whatever, I'm going to argue with some guy a thousand miles away.

10 Ignore Greyrooster. He just wants to piss you off. Sometimes I get the feeling he's Improbulus Maximus. Anyway, I agree that our country takes forever to execute people. You are not saying you are against the death penalty. You are just saying it takes forever to carry it out. It's true. We haven't even executed the Night Stalker yet. Our country has turned Left Wing on us.

11 Another lefturd jealous of Improbulus Maximus. I'm not IM. I don't have his literary skills.
