Coup in Thailand?

State of emergency declared in Thailand. Possible coup attempt. If successful, I've no idea what this would mean to the war on terror. Thailand is in a hot war with Muslim rebels in the south.

1 You'll have to excuse me, my cable modem has been acting up all day - but did you just say "Thailand sends a hot whore with Muslim rebels to the south"?

2 Military is in control. Minister loyal to the King has been seated by the military. No word on what this means except all Thais are expected to be loyal to the King. It could be for this reason alone the former Thai ruler was deposed. I do not believe the King is a Muslim activist. I think he is a Bhuddist.

3 Part of the dissillusionment Thai's are feeling towards the current Minister is his mishandling of the Muslim Insurgency in the south. I don't know if that means Thai's think he's too soft on terrorism or too harsh. I don't think he's harsh though, afterall this is the idiot that was bombarding Southern Thailand with paper "peace-pigeons" a couple of years back from Thai Airforce Planes.

Not that Thailand is anything like the Philippines, but from living there I can guest that this probably doesn't mean anything on the general war on terror, I doubt this will have any bearing on the Muslim Jihad against Kafir Thai Schoolgirls, Infidel Monks, and Naji Bank tellers.....

4 The Thais are not happy that under the King's rule of corruption muslim's have run rampant in the south and 17,000 citizens have died at the hands of the muscums. Never fear, however, our fearless leader wants to assure the moose-scums that Americans are not at war with Islam. What a wus!    :-(  Time for total war!

7 "The Thais are not happy that under the King's rule of corruption"

I don't think it's the King they're mad at, but rather the PM. The King in Thailand is highly revered, and will survive any coup. I sure hope the next government gets serious about cleaning out the ROP head-choppers from the south, this has gone on long enough to require some serious blood-letting.

8 My bad! I realized later it was the PM I was talking about but it was too late! I was already frothing and spewing and my mouse finger was twitching! Thanks for the correction!
