Secular Islam Summit : Quote of the Day (so far)

Richard Miniter, in response to an audience question as to whether anyone from the U.S. State Department was attending the Secular Islam Summit:

If there were anyone from the State Department here, that would reveal an uncharacteristic level of intelligence on their part.

2 "evolutionists shoving this darwinism popycock down their throats"

Yeah, we wouldn't want them to know the truth, now would we? Teach them unintelligent design!

3 I've always been iffy on that whole "round Earth" thing, myself...

4 That's a fact!

5 OUTLAW ISLAM! The only solution.

6 Hell, everyone knows the earth isn't round; it's just the shell of a
really large turtle... come on, it must be true, it's an ancient story
from a stone age culture, and therefore indisputable.

Oh by the way, I've got a new business; I'm selling bottles of water
from the Sea of Galilee, and you can still see the footprints of Jesus
in them! This water is amazing; you can actually walk on it! All you
have to do is pour it out on the floor and walk in the footsteps of
Jesus! Get yours now for only four easy installments of $9.99! Supplies
are limited! Don't delay! Call now!

7 Any quarantee?

Posted by: greyrooster at March 05, 2007 09:26 AM (criip)

8 Yeah, it  will cost you $9.99. Now if you don't like to get your feet wet, there's the Moses water " Red Sea Pedestrian" and it just kind of parts as you walk through. There is a disclaimer that you may get lost for 40 years.... hell I've stumbled aroung the Quarter for almost that long because of hurricanes, the Pat O'B kind....

9 God bless the overpriced hurricanes in the quarter.

10 As a Christian, let me just say, having a spiritual component in your life doesn't make you stupid. For that you just need a narrow mind. I have been into the whole prehistoric life hobby since I was three. Like a lot of Christians, I see no reason why God can't use evolution as his prefered vehicle for change. Like a lot of Christians, I see no reason why many of passages from the Bible can't be meant metaphorically. Nobody needs to be mean in either direction.
                                             USA, all the way!

11 Evolution is real but what has it to do with creation? Man has evolved animals such as the wolf into hundreds of types. The question is who/what created the first wolf/cell. And why?

Ever ponder on nothing? Since there is something, there is no such thing as nothing. There's always something. Except between osamaisawigger's ears.

12 I hope I didn't offend anyone, I try really hard not to do that without meaning to. It's such a waste of good hate.

13 You can't offend anyone here. I've been trying for 3 years.
