Welcome to another edition of Immigration Kornerâ„¢, a monthly article which brings you the information you want and need to know about your particular immigration concerns or immigration in general. In January, I received many questions about what options are available when the BCIS begins the process of trying to deport you. Accordingly, this article focuses on one form of relief known as Cancellation of Removal. There ya go, Homes! What is Cancellation of Removal?
Cancellation of removal is a form of relief from removal from the United States when one is placed in removal proceedings in immigration court. There are certain requirements you must meet in order to be eligible to apply and if you win, your removal is cancelled and you are given a greencard.
Thanx to Greenwyn.
