The terrorists told WorldNetDaily an electoral win for the Democrats would prove to them Americans are "tired."I'd like to say that this is shocking, but it isn't.They rejected statements from some prominent Democrats in the U.S. that a withdrawal from Iraq would end the insurgency, explaining an evacuation would prove resistance works and would compel jihadists to continue fighting until America is destroyed.
They said a withdrawal would also embolden their own terror groups to enhance "resistance" against Israel.

At one time, there may have be a chance, even after Bush's initial blunder to go into Iraq, but now, after he and Rumsfeld have made so many errors, especially by failing to capture the "hearts and minds" of the Iraqi people, there is very little hope left for a successful outcome.

All I can say that I have done is my duty as a soldier who earned several awards and medals and also earned an honorable discharge.
Currently, I work to save lives in a mental health crisis unit. It's nothing compared to what you have done. I mean what is saving American lives compared to pushing unnecessary pills on stupid people with too much (or not enough) money.

No one has a problem with the so-called war on terror, or removing terrorists from moving about freely, but Iraq was not supply terrorists, nor a great deal of terror funding (unless you have FACTUAL information otherwise). Iraq has been a colossal waste of human lives, money and resources and most of all, time. There is not a huge amount of Al Qaeda operatives in Iraq? Why would there be? Terrorists don't fight conventional wars, never have. Maybe you believe they're stupid, but then those stupid people took down two buildings and almost 3000 lives. The truth is that about 90% of what the US is fighting in Iraq is Iraqis. You know this, though you'll likely deny it.
Bush's "stay the course" has not made things safer from terrorism, it's the contrary, even by documents released by his own administration. A blind devotion to this administration is foolish and dangerous. Admittance of being wrong is no sin, nor is accepting the fact that maybe, just maybe, the critics were right about Iraq.
Now, in response I fully expect insults and other emotion based responses, we've come to expect nothing else from the right. They cannot prove anything about their stance so they go with straw man arguments or insults. Don't let me down!
