No Linky, You Stinky

Some ~~jerk off~~ fairly good guy ~~stole~~ borrowed/copied/used one of All Seeing Eyes Posts and didn't even link him. That's like being screwed without a kiss. ~~Give him hell.~~Go over there and say hello.

Update: Shy boy has taken down this post. However, I suspect some of the other posts may also be copies. If you recognize a post as originiating elsewhere please notify that blogger.

Update: Shyboy has made quite an effort to correct this. I found out today that he also has limited movement so typing is quite difficult for him. He took exception to some of the stronger language I used. My apologies if I offended Shyboy. It's supposed to be half jest anyway. So go over there and give him a holler(support).

2 True he will get more traffic but I felt that exposing him publicly was the best route. Me emailing is just one guy. A rain and angry jawas is better. Commenters of all stripes turn your anger away from each other for a few and sue it on this guy.

4 erm.. I wasn't "shrugging" the importance of this or what it means to ASE.. just trying to find a reasoning why someone would do something so blatantly stupid in the ever-shrinking world.
the site's 'hit counter' when I clicked at 9:25 read 216 (iirc).. now its 335.

You can search for phrases and see if they show up there.

7 You're right Howie, it worked much better to expose my mistake publicly and sic the readers of this blog on me. Like you said, you would only be one email. A jerk off would probably never correct a mistake after having one person point it out. I have corrected the offending post and apologized to ASE. I didn't, however, apologize to the folks who commented on my blog, as it wasn't their work that I plagiarised. I suppose if they are still offended, I will write another to also apply to the Angry Jawas if you would like.

Thank you JeepThang for the semi-back-up. Yes, it was a stupid mistake, not a ploy to generate hits. But it turns out I did get a lot of hits that I shouldn't have. Don't really know what that will get me. Must be pretty good though to have people so upset about my 335 hits. Howie, if you know how to transfer points I'll go back to zero and let you or ASE have them.

So again, I'm sorry, AllSeeingEye for taking your work without crediting you. I promise next time I'll kiss you.

I'd not get too shaken I'd just try and follow the advice you have been given. Always link and send TB if you can. Add a little somthing of what you think about the issue. S/B no problem.

Rather than go back and try to redo the whole website my suggestion is to just move ahead with a little better practices.

Blog rules are pretty open takes some time. It's all about the links man.
