Joking aside, that pic needs no caption.

5 Stuck on You 2
See what happens when two wacky co-joined twins hit the streets of Baghdad. One is a peace loving hippy, the other a terrorist @ss kicker from the 82nd. Hilarity ensues, and lessons are learned by both of them.

Ropert: "Two co-joined thumbs up."
Seattle Post: "Great movie except for anything positive about the US."
Jamil Hussein: "This movie caused the death of 5,000 sheiks at the hands of those two co-joined twins. Oh and death to America!!!!!"

Check the young, healthy Iraqi men running away, while our soldier fearlessly
goes toward the danger to help. Those Iraqis should be helping to fight the
insurgency.  What was it Lyndon Johnson said - "
We are not about to send American boys 9 or
10000 miles away from home to do what Asian boys ought to be doing for
themselves." This should also apply to Iraqi boys.

The saddest part about this image, imo, is that this young boy will probably
grow up laughing about how the 'stupid Americans can be used as shields.' These
people have no honor. An Infidel's act of bravery to protect them means nothing
to people who would willingly sacrifice their children to Allah in order to
obtain their 72 virgins in Islam's X-rated heaven.

16 John Ryan,
It kind of struck me how like that scared little Iraqi boy you are: both of you are hiding behind soldiers, yours for the free speech they protect, which you then use to stab them in the back.

17 AP Teaser:  A crowd of innocent Iraqis scatters as US mercenaries senselessly open fire - one child desperately tries to stop the violence by biting a soldier, but, alas, he lost his teeth to the occupation.

18 I challenge the leftist airhead in comment number 10 to tell us all what he would do, at the scene of a terrorist suicide bombing, without weapons, training, or body armor. I further challenge him to explain why young Iraqis continue to queue up in large numbers at recruiting stations for the Iraqi army and police, knowing that these lines are a favorite target of al Qaeda terrorists, often resulting in dozens of deaths at a time.

20 Amazing comments about this some of them totally discusting. I suggest most of you go post on Daily Kos. This is a child afraid and took it upon himself to have our soldier help him. He is a sitting duck by doing this. Yes, the men are running away but do you see any of them with weapons? I am damn proud that soldier is protecting him. As #18 stated "this is why we fight".

22 Bluto, I don't know what people would or should do at the scene of a suicide bombing. All I know that in Israel everybody rushes to help the injured before rescuers arrive, and if hospitals are not too distant, victims who can climb into passing cars will be evacuated even before the ambulances arrive. I remeber a particularly vicious attack on a school bus where the first to give aid were kids from another school bus that was passing by.
Now if the picture were of a Palestinian kid taking cover behind an IDF soldier (as I would hate for anyone to think that I might be poking fun at your troops, God bless and keep them all), in view of the propaganda and photoshopping and biased reporting and all, I would offer the following text:
Israeli occupying soldier using Palestinian baby as human shield to cover his back while cowardly running from Hamas/Fatah freedom fighters.

23

Busywwolf: do they run up while shots are still being fired, because that's what's been reported to be the case in this photo. If so, I salute their courage...if not their wisdom.

Posted by: The Dread Pundit Bluto at June 03, 2007 06:53 PM (q6AiT)

24 not to mention bombings in Iraq are often done using multiple vehicles, the first one clears the way and the next ones are used to create mass casualty events (like the ones in the markets and the Baghdad Hotel)

27 Bluto, I meant suicide bombings, you know, dynamite belts. I suppose if a terrorist starts shooting, then people take cover until someone with a gun can do the job. And yes, there have been cases where a second charge was denotated when rescuers rushed to the scene. That doesn't deter anyone though. People will still rush to help. It's neither courage nor wisdom - it's life. Soldiers or security guards often identify a potential suicide bomber and block them with their own bodies, sometimes paying with their own lives, or suffering severe disabilities. When they can be interviewed they say: I wasn't thinking about myself, I was just doing what I was trained to do.
Just google Roni Gozlan (in fact I posted his story not long ago: Roni's victory  or Natan Sandaka. The courage displayed by some people is just unbelievable, but as we say in Israel - May God never put us to the test!
God bless!

28 #18, I'm not a leftist. I think you mis-read my comment. I pointed out that our soldier was the one fearlessly facing the danger, while these Iraqis, leaving their children behind, flee for safety. As another pointed out, Israelis rush to help, even unprotected. Americans rush to help, even unprotected.

It does irk me that as our soldiers risk life and limb to defend these people, Iraqis are not stepping up to defend themselves. I have no doubt that many Iraqis see no point of risking their lives to defend their country when infidels are so willing to do it.

BTW, it's nice to see you can comment without petty insults.

31 28: If it quacks like a duck... I usually assume it's a duck. Insulting Iraqis in general is a trait of the Left, usually followed by demands for redeployment to Okinawa, an investigation of the "truth" of 9/11, and calls for impeachment.
As the commenter from Israel noted, even Israelis probably wouldn't rush out into small arms fire. Here's another view of the scene with commentary that says gunfire erupted after the bombing: http://www.prosebeforehos.com/alec/05/29/happy-memorial-day/
Maybe you didn't realize this.

You do realize that the Iraqi police and army have taken heavy casualties, yet still have lots of volunteers in those vulnerable lines outside their recruiting stations, don't you?

32 The report I read said the image was captured after a car bombing. You may find this hard to believe, but not everyone has the time to check every single blog and website out there.

As for quacking like a duck... the same could be said for arrogance as well.
