Helicool

MVC-090F.JPGSo why Rusty is busy being oppressed by “The Man” it’s up to us co-bloggers to blog.

I went to the truck stop for lunch. There was an older woman there. We struck up a conversation. She was partially paralyzed on the right side from a stroke in 99, so we started discussing rehab and options. Turns out most of her care comes from the VA. She is an Air Force veteran of 21 years.

We didn’t really get much into names and stuff just small talk. She mentioned using a computer to help her write since her stroke. We talked a bit about the internet and I mentioned I blog and explained what a blog was and that it was a conservative blog.

Very next thing she says, “I don’t like what that Senator said.”

“Senator Kerry?” I asked.

“Yes him”, she replied, “and we’re (she was referring to veterans) going to show him a thing or two next week too.”

I go to the truck stop because I’m from nowhere and they have good food and the kind of regular people that I’m used to. So this outrage is real. It’s not just political pundits or activists. Regular people and especially those who serve and have served are so pissed off.

I was kind of down after the Foley thing but I forgot the lefties have idiots too. Idiots like John Kerry. Thanks Mr. Kerry. We could not have done it without you.

Oh and on to the helicool part. We have a hotel nearby and VIP’s stay there quite a bit. Bands from Nashville and other important people stay there. It’s quiet and no one bothers them.

So anyway, I’m heading out for lunch and there is a candy apple red chopper about to take off. I asked, “Hey can I get some pics?” “Sure!” they said. So, below the fold, behold the helicool helicopter pics

Oh and Jam this it's good.

Also see the Juba Sucks blog for other cool new stuff. Thanks to all the contributors and we are getting close to making the Jawa #1 search for Juba. MVC-087F.JPG

1 Um, aren't helicopters designed to fall out of the sky?  They do it a lot, from what I know.  Of course, that might something to do with huge ass cedars attached to their under belly.

2 I bet the old salts who served this country in the past are just as pissed as those who are "stuck in Iraq" right now. Kerry is going to find that his boneheaded remark is akin to Howard Dean's primordial scream-political suicide. Don't piss off the veterans, man.

3 Yeah I was about the youngest person in there beside the waitresses(yes you can flirt with her).  It's a cool place breakfast 24 hrs a day 7 days a week.  And all your greasy spoon menu items.  Full of old men and women and they are not happy.

4 Every decent American is pissed off at Ketchup kerry. It's perfectly obvious that he's the lowest kind of human being there is. The Swift Boat Vets are coming back to address his latest smear of the military--just in time for the elections. Kerry really is emblamatic of the Democrat party, and that's why its working so hard to lie about his scurrilous statement. The predicted Democrat landslide was  always a fantasy, but Kerry has single-handedly galvanized moderate voters to come out against them.

Kerry just gave us the elections. First Howard Dean, now Kerry. Will the islamocrats ever learn?

6 One more thought even if a few of these "conservative" Demcorats win their races then to turn around and vote for Pelosi would make RR turn over in his grave.  Also note the liberals at NPR were frantic about a 4% jump in wages.  Wage inflation due to demand for workers.  They were agast with terror at the prospect of increasing wages and full employment.  Why? becuase they want to raise the minimum wage.  Not all bad but actually its a tax increase in disguise.  Think about it.  20 to 30 % of the increase will go do taxes.  never mind the  economy is already doing that on it's own.  Democrats terrified of good news.  that's right real wages up 4% unuwployment 4.4% and nearing historical lows.  Things are terrible, terrible if you are liberal and think of most of the nation as stupid and needing their  masterty to keep us on the dole like a pet.  Fuck the left.

8 What unemployment. We will soon be opening a Mac Donalds. We have a tent set up in front to take applications. Most boring place in town. Starting kids that wish to learn to cook at $10.00 per hr. Offering a bonus of $500.00 per month. Getting a few apps from people that wish to pick their hours. Tell me again how tough it is. Guess we will start interviewing Mexicans and hope they are legal.
