AQ and Democrats: Two Sides of the Same Coin

We've been saying this for years, much to the dismay of our political opponents.

If you're not actively against radical Islamists, terrorism or indiscriminate murder in the name of Allah, then you're objectively pro-terrorist. Al-Qaeda obviously sees it this way, and the Democrats are the useful idiots who enable them by doing their propaganda work- dutifully demoralizing the enemies of radical Islam. Buried in the aforelinked WaPo article, we find this:

Mohamad al-Janabi, a reputed al-Qaeda member in the nearby city of Salman Pak, said in a telephone interview that he was unable to contact his comrades in Mahmudiyah to determine whether they were responsible for the attack.

But he added: "I can assure you that we will start pressuring Bush in a new way at the same time he is facing pressures from the Democrats and the American people. And there will be no problem to sacrifice 10 soldiers in order to abduct a single American soldier and get him on television screens begging for us to release him."

As Ace succinctly put it, al-Qaeda knows who its allies are.

And Orwell was a smart guy - had the left pegged years before we had them pegged.

1 This sounds about right to me. It is sad that WApo will not even call the terrorist a terrorist and instead of this calls them a "reputed" member of al queda. This is liken to calling him a "possible member of the elks lodge" or "apparent member of the nazi party" if you like.

To be fair and there is no need for me to be because I do not receive benefit for it, I still find the need to defend the left in a way. First of all I am a atheist. That and only that is what separates me from the rest of the conservative party. I despise the word faith because to me it means "to believe without ample evidence." It really is that simple to me. I do not believe things because my peer group tells me to, or because I read it from a book I hold in high regard.

I also am completely for stem cell research funding by my government. Since after all our tax dollars also go to the Palasteinans who I find much, much worse of a thing to give money too than something that can improve all of our lives with the benefit of advanced medicine.

But here is why I will continue to side with the right on the matters I hold most dear and scorn them for not doing enough. First is Islamic terrorists not "radicals" "extremists" or "fundamentalists" have repeatedly attacked the United States. In just over 6 years there has been over 8000 islamic terrorist attacks that I can back up with evidence. The republicans are the ones who are taking this threat most seriously. The left in the country think byt their actions and speech that we can placate the islamists with money, grants of land,  inclusion, or tolerance. I do not see how or why I should be tolerant of someone who calls for my death just for my beliefs of the world. No I am not tolerant of that. I am tolerant of peace. I am tolerant of other ideas, but I am intolerant and proud of it that I will not accept people who want to kill me. I have read the entire koran and I wonder how many liberals have. I believe very few. This single issue of islam trying to take a grasp in killing infidels and ruling the world in some bizzare califate is baffaling that sane rational people would push it under the rug and just ignore it. People who love the freedom they have should fight against this form of abuse and risk their very lives to defend the freedoms of others from this bleak world of the islamist.
Now where the right has fucked up is they play along and call islam a " inner struggle" or a "religion of peace" Bottom line it is not. The right also plays into the islamists hands by normally refusing to condem the whole of islam and also acting like there is some magic "moderate muslim" out there that hates the islamist as much as we do.
I as a American Sailor who joined to defend my country or pay it back for my freedom joined under Clinton. The military is way more then what its CIC is. It is a ideal and a struggle. Unlike islam though, it is a ideal for sacrifice for freedom and peace. It is a struggle for dicipline, comradeship, and sacrifice. I find all of those things honorable. Sure I have become disabled while I served overseas and am trying to get help with the VA trying to fuck me over at every turn, but the ideals of my nation and its orginal texts were worth this personal pain and fight I am going through now.  If I was to do it over I would. Sure I may be a high school educated American who went to shitty schools, but I am entitled to my opinion about politics and the way things should be in our lives. I think I do know enough to know where our real threats to peace lie, and how to achieve this peace. It is by killing those who actively seek to kill us and our culture.  We as Americans have grown too soft on fighting evil in the world both parties included.
This is my opinion and I am thankful the laws I live under allow me to express it. In a lot of other countries It would be the opposite.

Bush said it best:  If you're not with us, you're against us.  And the Dems laughed.  But he was right, and the Dems are proving it every day of the week.

4 Bush did say it best, but has he really stuck with it? Pakistan is supposedly "with us". So is Saudi Arabia, etc. Do you really believe those countries have our back, so to speak? Not me. They only support us on paper, and a fucking blind man could see that they are wolves in sheep's clothing.

5 "a fucking blind man could see that they are wolves in sheep's clothing."

That is what my beef is with the Republicans. Nothing more nothing less. When Bush called it a "religion of peace"  I was about to puke.
