Another Iraqi Kid Out $129.95

puttingtoytogethertiny.JPGYes that's right the Army of Ansar al-Sunnah has released another of their famous "spyplane" vids. They claim to have shot down US RC UAV with a camera.

The only problem is you can order the parts and the plane on the internet or retail stores. The planes propeller is available at Hobby Lobby and Tower Hobbies.

During my.. er... uh.. research, I found that you can get most of the stuff at a discount for as little as $130 bucks. So even if it us a US "spyplane" it will take the terrorists oh about 50,000 years to bleed us dry by shooting up our toys.

I'm not saying the plane isn't cool but it's capabilities are probably similar to this one.

Or maybe this one...

If the Jihadis had actually shot down one of our UAV's it would look more like one of these.

2 It looks like it might be military, but your point stands, "shooting" one down doesn't affect much of anything.

3 That one is a bit smaller.  I saw a special on PBS and the model plane geeks who build these (for themsel;ves and the military) had one that was tiny.  I mean itty bitty.  Four inches across or so. I just was not aware we had the smaller ones in use. Cheap and easy enough to start using them though. We should puyt a homing beacon in them and if we see that the enemy has one.....get out the bigger planes.
