Anonymous, Veiled Muslim Woman to Give 'Alternative Christmas' Message on British TV

Britain's Channel 4 has decided to go dhimmi, just like the Beebs, and will allow a "freelance lecturer in Islamic studies and the Koran" who goes by the name of one of Mohammed's wives and wears a full veil and gloves in public to counter the Queen's Christmas message this year:

A veiled Muslim woman will deliver this year's alternative Christmas speech on Channel 4, the broadcaster has said.
Khadija, a Zimbabwean-born British citizen who has been wearing the full veil - or niqab - for 10 years, has been given the slot.

The message will reflect a year in which the wearing of religious clothing and symbols have "dominated the news agenda", said a Channel 4 spokesman.

What better way to promote peace on earth, good will toward men than to have Christmas mocked by someone firmly entrenched in the seventh century?

It's become something of a tradition for British broadcasters to denigrate Christmas with a counterpoint to the Queen's speech:

Previous presenters have included Sharon Osbourne, Ali G, The Simpsons, the Rev Jesse Jackson and the late Quentin Crisp.
UPDATE by Rusty: An earlier version of this post cited the BBC as airing the message. Ian brought it to our attention that it was the UK's privately owned Channel 4 that will run it. The post has been corrected.

1 Why does the Christmas holiday even need a counterpoint? Maybe I'm just touchy lately but this seems spiteful and ill willed of them.

USA all the way!

2 I just linked this story, too. As I pointed out, the niqab makes a great Christmas tree skirt if you're in a pinch! ; )

3 They should go all the way and invite Abu Izzadeen to deliver Christmas rant:  "How dare you come here to a Muslim area?!"

4 Oh, joy of joys, we now have Allahmas.

Minor niggle, though - though the story is from the BBC site, it seems it's Channel 4 (who recently ran a show called 'Are Muslims a Threat to Free Speech?'), that have made this rather odd decision.

5 More evidence Liberalism is a mental disorder and a threat to Western civilization.

6 I want to be the first to volunteer to give the "alternative Ramadan" message next year. Seems only fair to me.

7 The Randman strategy of 'bikini escalation' has my total support! Explode the skulls of seventh century zombies with skin, glorius skin.

Why not?

USA all the way!

Uh, no ... terrorists and terrorism have dominated the news agenda, you twit.

9 I would like to volunteer to deliver the alternate Ashura greetings.

Inasmuch as I am culturally sensitive, I will be sure to assist in the beatings of as many self flagellating Muslims as possible.

Let the world see that Americans are always available to help.

10 I really have no problem with this act as long as we get to have a
bikini clad model to give the response to Ramadan. Oh yeah....tolerance
is suppose to be a one way street with liberals.

11 the alternate Ashura greetings

Network news is completely out but I do veg out in front of the travel
channel sometimes. On one of their self promoting commercials where
they are showing different cultures they say "be a believer" and show a
Muslim man with the tiniest little trickle of blood. He is obviously
suppose to be an Ashura participant and I always laugh how they water
it down because if they showed the true pic people would be changing
the channel in horror.

12 That's okay, I know they'll be having the Queen offer an "alternative
perspective" next Ramadan... right?  I mean the point is after all
"balance", not umm, dhimmitude... oh.  Nevermind.

13 Gee, I wonder what that alternative to Christmas message could be. Jihad? The "House Of War?" Hatred, violence, ignorance, stupidity, misogyny, "homophobia," racism, deceit, and poor hygiene?

War on Earth, ill will towards men, from an enslaved cunt who doesn't even celebrate Christmas. Absurd.
