WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States is asking
Iran to provide information about a former
FBI agent believed to have gone missing several weeks ago while on private business there, U.S. officials said on Monday.
This last paragraph in the story is, uh, rather interesting:
"It's not completely a unique scenario to have an American citizen go missing there and possibly need consular support," White House spokeswoman Dana Perino said.
Really? Where do they go? Down a well to have tea with the mahdi?

Don't people realize that the Mullahcracy has no sense of humane decency whatsoever?! What business could possibly be so important as to risk your safety and your life for?
As long as the current regime or anything resembling it exists, Iran is very dangerous place for anyone. There is no security of life or property at all.

Americans in Iran are targets. As I recently posted on my own blog, they jailed a German and Frenchmen for over a year for no real reason, and they were from friendly countries.

How on this earth does an American FBI employee think he is going to waltz in and have tea with his family or friends?
