Via Iowa Hawk: Presently, Muslim students sometimes perform less well than non-Muslim students, but only if you limit performance measurement to racism-tinged subjects, like maths. In subjects that are more attuned to a Muslim ethos, such as reciting the Quran whilst being beaten with a stick, Muslim students outperformed their non-Muslim counterparts 78% to 11% in a recent study by the Ministry of Schools.
Assan Ali, education spokesman for the Muslim Council of Britain, says the secret to Quran recitation success is faith schools that work in tandem with home values: â€˜Muslim schools use the childrenâ€™s faith and heritage as primary motivators, along with sticks. This is consistent with the messages and beatings that children are getting at home, so it is a very coherent operation between the home and the school.â€™

3 hum, i was always under the impression Arabs/Persians valued education... I guess is you give them special treatment they see no need to achieve. I don't know why the UK bends over backwards to accommodate these assholes

5 Arabs value education? Until Saddam 80% of Iraq was illiterate. And they were better off that way. Couldn't read bomb making instructions. Saudi Arabia has to import everything as their population is to ignorant to produce anything themselves.

7 Arabs have never valued education. This is part of why they took to Islam so readily, because it is inherently anti-education. There is no intellectual inquiry - all is revealed and dictated by allah to mo-man, and then the mental slaves do what they are told by their pedophile masters. It is a religion of submission, not individualism (like hinduism, buddhism, christianity, etc.)

Perhaps you are thinking of the Turks or Persians. They valued education, until the arabs imposed their anti-education religion on everyone.
